4. Supervise the M & E works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical matters or site issues.

5. Attend site meetings with consultants.

6. Inform Project Manager/ M & E Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to M&E works.

7. Responsible for site supervision and coordination of M&E works with other trades such of civil, structural or architectural.

8. Prepare and arrange M&E installation in accordance with approved drawings and materials.

9. Coordinate & supervise M&E works carried out by sub-contractors that's in accordance to specifications, shop drawings, method statements and local codes & regulations.

10. Ensure site safety in accordance with safe work procedure.

11. Submission of M&E shop and coordinated drawings.

12. Coordination of sub-contractor's M&E work and ensuring the work is on schedule.

13. All other duties as assigned by Project Manager

Role

• Applies Project knowledge, Engineering knowledge and experience to coordinate the engineering and design of a project and support the fabrication, installation, commissioning and startup of facilities and equipment/ utilities interface associated with the conversion and outfitting of FSO / FPSO tankers, conversion of MOPU jackups for production operations or deep water TLP projects.
• The incumbent shall be capable of deputizing for the Topsides Engineering Manager in case of the latter's absence.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations and construction team for preparation of deliverables meeting the quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to set up Engineering and Design systems, Engineering Schedule, Master document Register (MDR), Procurement Schedule.
• Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to issue all deliverables on schedule.
• Work with the project planner to develop Level 3 and Level 4 engineering schedules.
• Implement engineering change management for the Topsides engineering post design freeze in all disciplines including communication, tracking and approval by the relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Engineering disciplines to respond and closeout of Class Society comments, Client Technical Queries, Site Queries and Operation Queries for topsides.
• Coordinate with the Detailed Engineering subcontractors and Third Party specialists for Topsides.
• Support Topsides Engineering Manager in forecasting and mobilizing engineering and design resources for Topsides Engineering.
• Identify and integrate Safety, Quality requirements in the Design to ensure safe operability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline with 15 years of relevant experience or Masters' degree in any engineering discipline with minimum 13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as Topsides Engineering Coordinator with at least one FPSO project in the EPCI phase.
• Previous experiences in FPSO projects for topside management role will be an added advantage.
• Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to Engineering functions.

Responsibilities:

• Site planning, inspections and coordination with consultants, subcontractors & clients on M&E requirements and specifications
• Plan, monitor and ensure work-in-progress at site are on schedule
• Prepare and compile as built drawings for submission
• Coordinate for submission and approval, all shop drawings, samples, coordination drawings and supervision
• Identify discrepancies, assess, and recommend M&E Subcontractors’ claims
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management or your Superior

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree / Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Well versed in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of BIM would be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years construction trade experience in Singapore, in Commercial / Building / Civil Projects, completed at least one project cycle
• Preferred Singaporean to apply

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in M&E

• M & E Cert preferred

• Min 4-5 years of relevant site experience in Residential and commercial project

Responsibilities

• In charge of all M&E matters e.g. sanitary and plumbing, ACMV, electrical, security and lift

• Liaise with both nominated and domestic contractors and consultants on mechanical and electrical work and produce progress report

• Site inspections to ensure M & E works are in accordance to requirements

• Coordinate all M & E works, including monitoring of work progress

• Read and review M&E drawings • Able to produce co-ordination drawings would be an advantage
