What is the Job all about?

Development and improvement of manufacturing processes in a water pump manufacturing plant. This is to be carried out by understanding both the product and manufacturing methods, in order to effectively apply this knowledge to the Shopfloor.

This role will be directly reporting to the Regional Head for Operations , and to be based in Singapore.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment while also conferring with equipment vendors.
• Evaluates manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials and effectively understanding observations from operators.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Performs Automation maintenance, including Preventive maintenance and periodic review of system, system backup, disaster recovery, and obsolescence activities, and ensures automation systems remain in a validated state.

Job Description

• Engineer, design and deliver grid connected or standalone solar photovoltaic systems (rooftop, ground mounted and floating arrays) on time and within budget.
• Prepare PVsyst report and manage proposals and bidding process for obtaining and delivering these services, including preparation of bill of materials (BOM) for project.
• Review solar system engineering designs, modeling, performance data, PVsyst report and provide engineering support during the construction process.
• Review the costs of structural estimates, interconnection, permitting agreements, production estimates, and assessment of commercial risk factors.
• Provide and/or review final bids, proposals, and RFIs, and provide support during construction and commissioning.
• Maintain design and proposal requirements, knowledge of codes and standards, design procedures, methods and process, improve efficiency of project development and project selection process.
• Selection of suitable equipment and components such as inverters, PV panels, switch bords etc.

Qualification Requirements

• Candidate possesses at least a Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Green Building & Sustainability, Intelligent Building Technology or Green Building Technology or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to design PV systems 415/400/230V power levels.
