EUC Engineer (Fixed shift)

Brief Description:

End-User Support, strong in supporting all windows, iOS, and macOS systems, applications, and networking related.

Responsibilities

• Experienced in troubleshooting both desktop/laptop hardware and software.
• Single point of contact for end-users to log incident and service requests via email and hotline.
• Support user queries or issues are captured and validated for further processing.
• Coordinate with different support teams (including vendor coordination) to ensure issues are resolved with proper resolution recorded.
• Adhere to the SOP and Policy defined.
• Responsible for Call logging, Assignment, Incident Management & Coordination, Call Tracking and follow‐up until closure within the agreed SLA.
• Implementing best practices to reduce time and increase efficiency.
• Incident ownership, monitoring, tracking and communication with all parties.
• Focus on First Call resolution to ensure early closure of tickets.
• Day-to-day onsite IT support for hardware and software issues involving end-user desktops/notebooks, client’s network connectivity
• Install applications/software and apply updates/patches to desktops, notebooks and other end-user computing devices
• Preparation of desktop/notebook system image
• User account management (Account creation, deletion, modification, and reset password in accordance with Customer's process and procedures)
• Perform file backup, migration and restoration for end-users' desktops/notebooks

Requirements

• Higher Nitec and above in Information Technology or related field
• Provide IT technical service desk and onsite support for end-user services
• Support desktops, notebooks, printers and other hardware components.
• Minimum 3 years of IT (EUC) relevant experience in Apple products, applications and networks.

Contract Type: 12 Months (Renewal)

Salary: SGD2,800 to SGD4,000

Location: Jurong, Suntec, East Coast, Punggol

Working Hours: Fixed shift
i. Mon – Fri 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (onsite), Sat 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. (onsite)

Job Summary

Maintain and support equipment readiness for Etch module.

• To provide technical leadership to optimize equipment capability, quality, and utilization through CIP to meet Module goals
• Possess knowledge on SPC, DOE, FDC, ECMS and all the statistical analysis tools to help optimizing equipment robustness.
• Able to coach Engineers in performing hardware trouble shooting.
• Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all equipment and optimize PM for quality, cost, and productivity.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment performance
• Initiate meeting with both process and manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives
• Establish stock levels of essential spare parts and consumables to support equipment maintenance based on forecasted manufacturing volume. Liaise with vendors to minimize / eliminate over-stock or under-stock
• Manage new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hookup, vendor startup, to acceptance of equipment for production
• Implement equipment improvement projects to improve equipment efficiency, cost reduction and reliability of equipment
• Forecast financial budgets for equipment expenditures. Setup tracking system to monitor expenditures
• Set targets, goals, and projects for the section to minimize wafer scrap, equipment cost per wafer, optimize equipment capability and utilization to meet operational needs
• Provide feedback / training to AEs and TAs on their troubleshooting skills, equipment knowledge, decision making, risks assessment
• Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for closure of issues / events. Provide guidance to Junior Engineers
• Self audit and update specifications to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements
• Set Expectation and carry out performance appraisal for Technician or AE as instructed by Section Manager. Help the AE or Engineer on their career path development
• Provide long term solution to address daily issues. Resolve department hardware chronicle issues.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics
• 5-8 years working experience in Electrical / Electronics industry
