A Solutions Engineer is able to really listen to a prospect or customer, understand their requirements, ask the right questions to extract as much information as required and translate all that into a solution with Grafana Labs technology. They are the bridge between the highly technical engineering folks here at Grafana Labs, our customers and our Sales team.

In Singapore, the OTE compensation range for this role is SGD 210,000 - SGD 270,000. (A) Job Summary:

The Building Engineer assists the Assistant Manager, Project in the project and construction management of dwellings, factories, commercial and other types of buildings and/or construction.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

• The Building Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
• Interprets plans, estimate costs and quantities of materials required.
• Assists in the development of Temporary Works’ Plan, design and drawings for construction projects.
• Assists in the tender process by providing technical engineering information to ensure compliance with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions.

• Manages interface with hull and marine systems such as Cargo, Utilities, etc.
• Reviews and comments TEC Process Engineering Deliverables including process simulations through various revisions; reviewing and updating TEC issued Technical queries and conclude TQs with Client and TEC; reviewing & updating Third Party Specialist, Process & Safety studies, scope of work prepared by TEC, including follow through of all such studies (review study reports, attending workshops, etc.) and implementation of agreed studies recommendations.
• Works on process design data collection, analysis and maintenance in order to support project feasibility studies, preparation of tender/ construction documents as well as basic and detailed design drawings
• Assembles process design engineered submittal manuals/ booklets including drawings, schematics, documents, reports, calculations, etc. and provides copying support for contractors/ customers
• Prepares process design project training manuals and owner’s manuals for on-site training to contractors and customers

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplines
• Atleast 5 years of working experience in marine and offshore industry
• Experienced in FEED and EPC Engineering
• Proficiency in using design software such as ASPEN HYSYS, UNISIM, etc
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Flexible and comfortable to travel to Tuas
