WHAT YOU WILL DO

Main Responsibilities

• Provides support to complete work activities timely, efficiently and satisfactorily
• Collates and report the team shift or day activities to the team lead
• Provides simple troubleshooting and diagnostic of equipment failure to determine the root cause and perform immediate corrective actions. Use RTPS or RCFA tool for difficult or complex problem.
• Standby for any emergency repair after office hours / weekends and public holidays.
• Operates and maintains process equipment/utilities /Facilities within the production plant
• Performs and coordinates utilities shutdown, startup, swing over, and equipment servicing and inspection
• Performs jobs assigned by Manager pertaining to installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment with adherence to site change control procedures or minor projects.
• Performs testing, commissioning, qualification (IQ, OQ) activities
• Carries out Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) improvement initiatives (i.e. audits, training, etc) and submit recommendation
• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance for the Process /Utilities equipment/ systems to ensure efficient running of equipment.
• Executes CMMS Work Instruction from process plants (e.g. Isolation and Reconnection of electrical supply, install earthing bonds for new or replacement piping, replace faulty lighting and troubleshoot/repair any E/I faults)
• Performs basic troubleshooting of the AHU/ BMS system.
• Assists Manger/ Engineer during the vendor servicing and testing of PRDs/ process Equipment/ Systems
• Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualification

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in mechanical maintenance field in the Petrochemical or related industries
• Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice will be an advantage

This is a career conversion programme under Workforce Singapore (WSG) and candidates must meet the following criteria and are open to the following conditions:

• PMETs/Mid-Careerist with more than 2 years working experience (no prior work experience in Biopharma industry) are welcomed to apply

Description -

• Collaborate with Process and Equipment Engineer to establish automation design concepts and specifications, communications protocol, response plan and redundancy to achieve the required product specifications.
• Lead the execution phase of automation planning and design development, installation, configuration and testing as pre-requisite for Manufacturing Release.
• Manage automation hardware and software documentation, standards, revisions, and roll outs. Conduct training to Operations staff on the use of the SCADA/HMI systems.
• Lead the automation aspect of the Ink manufacturing to achieve cost, quality, availability, and safety metrics. Ensure ‘same ink’ quality & performance level with partner side.
• Establish automation plan and execute to meet new manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Lead automation issues troubleshooting and corrective action implementation.
• Lead automation innovations and optimizations to achieve breakthrough cost, productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Develop and execute Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 strategies for the manufacturing site.
• Work with IT teams for Project Implementations.
• Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 4-6 years Automation experience in a Manufacturing or similar industry.
• This will be 2 years fixed term contract role directly with HP Inc.
• Experience in having direct responsibilities in manufacturing automation.
• Direct experience in PLC programming and DCS infrastructure.
• Experience in MES systems for Manufacturing Environments.
• Experience in Various Industrial Communications protocols
• Applied knowledge in SCADA/HMI, PID tuning, P&ID, sensor instrumentations, and industrial controls programming.
• Experience in script programming skills such as C++/C#/SQL/.Net is preferred.
• Experience in AWS, MS Azure Platforms and IoT Protocols for Manufacturing Projects.
• Ability to employ engineering tools and software to automate manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated competency on industry-standard project management methodologies.

[What you will be working on] 

You will be expected to:

- Perform design, coding, testing, configuration and other related tasks during software development process.

- Ensure software quality, security and performance are met.

- Analyse and resolve technical issues arising from development, testing and deployment.

- Develop/update relevant process documentation.

- Implement applications in both traditional and low code platforms.

- Implement robotic process automation and streamlining to improve process and system efficiency.

- Involved in project management, budgeting, purchasing process.

- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned to support digitalisation effort in ITE.

[What we are looking for]
- Possess suitable credentials in IT or equivalent.
- Experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of medium to large complex applications 
- Working knowledge of two or more of the following technology domains
-> Java, C#, PHP, Javascript 
-> SSIS, MSSQL, MySQL
-> ASP.net, Azure Cloud such as Azure App Service, Azure Function 
-> PowerApp, PowerAutomate, Outsystems
-> UiPath, Automation Anywhere
- Experience in DevOps and Agile software development processes is an advantage
- Experience in implementing Power Bi and other visualization tools is an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders, gather customer requirements and translating them into functional specifications

[What you will be working on]

This will involve the evaluation and implementation of both new initiatives and migration of existing on-premises applications to the cloud. In supporting day to day business needs, you are also required to manage the cloud environments ranging from cloud administration of the compute resources, storage, backup/restore, monitoring to patch management in accordance with our ICT policies. Lastly, this role includes implementing the security architecture to ensure data security with the relevant cybersecurity tools like the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

[What we are looking for]

You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Systems or relevant disciplines, preferably in the areas of AWS, Azure or GCP. Relevant cloud certifications would be preferred. Strong analytical, communication and writing skills are needed as you work across functional teams as part of the overall project and vendor management.
