Job Scope: To contribute as part of a process safety team on a proposal / project, in collaboration with different departments and process safety section, to manage Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) and prevent and mitigate Major Accident Events (MAEs) throughout the lifecycle of the facility.

• Coordinate and manage risk consultant/subcontractor to ensure the risk of the facility is properly assessed in accordance with the scope of work and methodology, in a timely manner and on budget.
• Collect risk assessment input data, review risk assessments, prepare deliverables, review other discipline deliverables, and collaborate with other disciplines and departments, as instructed by the Principal Engineer or assigned engineer. Issue accurate deliverables, minimizing mistakes and maximizing efficiency. Minimise / manage deviations from company standards, client and regulatory requirements of safety-related systems.
• Contribute to the achievement of Project / Engineering Performance Goals defined for the year / project.
• Collaborate with the proposal / project team, consistently check deliverables for compliance, attend / support audits and resolve non-conformities to deliver a regulatory compliant installation. Minimise non-conformities and delays to first oil.
• Communicate professionally with the client, provide responses to client comments, as instructed by the Principal Engineer, such that the client is satisfied that hazards are managed appropriately.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that changes are managed in accordance with the Management of Change Procedure and their impact on risk are properly evaluated.
• Identify and communicate lessons learnt for improved management of MAHs and project execution.

Job Description

• 5 years relevant working experience in Water Treatment industries is preferable.

• Experienced in the design of water treatment plants (desalination, potable water, demineralization) and membranes systems (MBR, MF/UF, Reverse Osmosis, Nano-Filtration, etc.), experience in Demineralization System will be added advantage.

• Review Client’s Requirement, Technical Specifications & Tender Specifications to generate engineering deliverables (General Specification & Particular Specifications, Datasheets, Major Equipment List, Pipe List, Mass Balance, Hydraulic Profiles, Process Flow Diagram, Process & Instrumentation Diagram, etc.)

• Assist the Engineering Manager & Lead Engineer, Process on engagement with Clients, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and others for the development of design, procurement, fabrication, construction, erection and commissioning works.

• Coordinate with inter-disciplines engineering team (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Automation, C&S and Drafting) on development of engineering deliverable on a timely basis.

• Procurement Services Support: Develop the applicable Equipment List/Package, Technical Specifications and Bill of Materials to support Procurement Department to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ). Assist to review the RFQ, prepare applicable technical & commercial clarifications with selected Sub-Contractors or Suppliers. As a Senior Equipment Engineer/Equipment Engineer in the NTI, you will be expected to support R&D activities associated with rapid deployment of First-of-Kind equipment, the CIP hardware evaluations and managing on the timeline needed to deploy in current technode/next advance technode on time. Good team spirit and good collaborations working is needed with various stakeholders including (not limited to) facilities/fab support/Gas & Chemical/EHS/F4/F10/Central team etc with various equipment setup and improvement work necessitated thereof as well as to ensure extended engagement with F4 on the upcoming First-of-Kind equipment in upcoming technode. Responsibilities
• Install equipment and/or CIP hardware for evaluation by the process development team to enable early introduction, maturity, and adoption for current and next node of 3D NAND technology.
• Work with the Fab layout and facility team to ensure smooth and on time installation and operation of the equipment.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in the area of equipment engineer roles.
