Job Scope:

• Lead end to end data migration project from on-premises environments to Databricks with minimal downtime.

• Work with architects and lead solution design to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

• Hands on experience in Databricks to design and implement the solution on AWS.

• Hands on experience in configuring Databricks clusters, writing Pyspark codes, build CI/CD pipelines for the deployments.

• Highly experienced in optimization techniques (Zordering, Auto Compaction, vacuuming)

• Process near real time data through Auto Loader, DLT pipelines

• Must have strong background in python and able to identify, communicate and mitigate risks and issues.

• Identify and resolve data-related issues and provide support to ensure data availability and integrity.

• Optimize AWS, Databricks resource usage to control costs while meeting performance and scalability requirements.

• Stay up to date with AWS, Databricks services, and data engineering best practices to recommend and implement new technologies and techniques.

• Proactively implement engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in AWS or Azure services, Databricks, and/or Informatica IDMC.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for building data pipelines.

• Evaluate potential technical solutions and make recommendations to resolve data issues especially on performance assessment for complex data transformations and long running data processes.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with data modelling and schema design.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Databricks certifications, and Informatica certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark and Hadoop on Databricks.

• Experience in AWS Services focusing on data and architecting.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Understanding of DevOps principles for managing and deploying data pipelines.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of data governance and data cataloguing tools, especially Informatica IDMC.

As a Senior Engineer, Facility Engineering, you will:

Lead in Facilities Management (FM) on soft and hard service for site. Planning and scheduling in carrying out daily facilities support functions for Facilities Management. Possess experience leading a small team of both administrative/technical staff. Lastly, experienced in energy saving and improvement and Project Management (Renovations)

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Experience in Integrated Facilities Management in both soft and hard services.
• To take up as site Fire Safety Manager as requirement set by SCDF.
• Daily building walkabout to pick up and address maintenance and safety gaps.
• Coordination and effective communication with internal users, service partners as well as vendors for work.
• Prepare site related SOPs and guides to train technical personnel.
• Able to prepare Request for Quotes, source quotations and to prepare justification and summary papers for management approval.
• Raise Purchase Request / executive summary for management approval.
• Assist in preparing Master Maintenance Schedule, follow up maintenance schedule
• Ensure work delivery is of highest quality from vendors.
• Coordinate closely with HQ FM on Facilities Management approaches.

As the Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will lead engineering and maintenance efforts for on-site electrical equipment and systems. With guidance from the Facilities organization, you will work towards achieving the goals of the facilities department, site, corporate facilities, and the company as a whole.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to environmental safety policies, standard operating procedures, and quality standards. Perform risk assessments and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Gain experience in maintaining and commissioning electrical systems up to 230kV, including emergency generators, Rotary UPS, and power quality equipment.
• Provide support for operational issues and root cause analysis using standard problem-solving techniques.
• Review and support capacity analysis for electrical systems.
• Review and advise on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure additions or modifications. Supervise progress and provide engineering and design support during construction.
• Conduct risk and failure mode and effects analysis to eliminate single points of failure and mitigate risks.
• Guide, mentor, and certify the electrical team through classroom and site training.s.
• Participate in root cause identification for equipment and system abnormalities, conduct post-incident reviews, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide engineering support for system capacity expansion and improvement projects, ensuring alignment with production plans.
• Drive the implementation of SMART power systems, early detection, and team efficiency improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical Systems Design Maintenance and Operations, Semiconductor, and/or Facilities related Industry.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong organisation skills and Service attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good team working skills, English Required.
