Requirements:

• Hands-on technical skills and good competency in 2 or more of the following

• React.js and other JavaScript framework/libraries,

• C# (.Net Core), Python, or Java

• Database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Tooling and ecosystem for end-to-end AI ML development lifecycle

• Passionate in understanding business requirements and use technology to transform or improve current state

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plan, schedule, organize and co-ordinate site installation works of security and communication and related systems projects, which include;

• Planning and scheduling of site installation works;
• Monitor site installation progress of sub-contractors, prepare progress reports,
• Attend site and co-ordination meetings, and technical meetings, prepare site documentation
• Plan equipment installation schedules, and schedule system testing and interfacing works
• Reports to the Project Manager and assist in carrying out specific site related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Polytechnic Diploma/ Degree/ Master in Civil Engineering/Construction
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Good team player, able to lead and multi task
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• MS Office skills – Excel/Words/Powerpoint

• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Managing the daily operation of construction projects
• Interpreting and implementing construction plans as per the project blueprint
• Liaising with subcontractors, architects, and other professional staff to ensure project requirements are met
• Assessing potential risks and implementing preventive measures to mitigate them
• Ensuring materials and resources are used effectively and wastage is minimized
• Keeping accurate records of construction progress, changes, and other relevant information
• Resolving technical issues with the project team and offering advice on improvements and solutions

• Perform Assessment and remediation of vulnerabilities related to Windows and Linux OS, Hypervisors, Web Servers and OpenSSL.
• Assessment would be based on vulnerabilities identified by Security Team, Product Vendors, or fellow security vulnerabilities providers.
• Engineer to work with various party such as vendor to provide the remediation and/or workaround solutions to remediate the vulnerabilities.
• Engineer to perform coordination work with various parties such as actual users, business units, vendors to perform the change such as security fixes or server patching.
• Engineer is expected to work non-office hours to plan and perform the security fixes, or server patching.
• Engineer is expected to provide after office hours support for remediation and server patching and issues arising from system patch updates and security vulnerabilities fixes.
• Works closely with Internal Security Team to perform vulnerability scanning for pre and post.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing Windows or Unix and Linux Server platform in skills listed below:
• Windows, Linux OS (RedHat, Oracle, other Linux variations)
• Administering and supporting virtualization infrastructure
• Well versed in Windows Server Update Service(WSUS), yum repositories configuration and management.

• Administration and troubleshooting of Windows Servers (Windows 2012/2016 &2019)
• Able to Install of windows servers and has good troubleshooting skills for Wintel systems, knowledge in hardening and securing of Wintel systems.
• Advanced level of Administration of Windows server with active directory, DNS, DHCP and High Availability.
• Microsoft cluster configuration, administration and troubleshooting.
• Working experience with various storages, precisely for cluster configurations is good to have.
• Working knowledge in SAN environment and storage space management from systems side is good to have.
• File system and quota management.
• Experience and knowledge on SFTP Client and Server Model.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar for scripting and automation purposes.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools like Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, ELK Stack, GitHub Actions, and other DevOps tools.
• Solid understanding and experience in working with Linux-based environments.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven experience with implementing security best practices, including vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

• Experience with multi-cloud infrastructure management.

About the role

Duty Engineer

The Duty Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing all engineering operations within the hotel. This includes delegating tasks to subordinates, coordinating engineering activities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. He/she will ensure compliance with maintenance standards, monitor supplies, and respond to emergency breakdowns. Additionally, the Duty Engineer handles minor projects, ensures systems are well-maintained, and promotes energy conservation measures. The incumbent also conducts inspections, leads daily meetings, and trains subordinates while enforcing hotel policies.

What you will do

• Oversee delegation of daily tasks to subordinates, aligning with maintenance programs such as Perfect Room Program (PRP) and Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP)
• Coordinate all engineering activities hotel-wide
• Develop and execute PMP for engineering equipment/systems including those under Maintenance Contracts, ensuring strict adherence to PMP standards. Monitor and maintain records of preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage inventory levels of engineering supplies and ensure timely replenishment
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and see through to resolution. Manage minor engineering projects and provide updates to the Assistant Director of Engineering.
• Ensure all M&E, ACMV, fire and safety systems are well maintained and checked periodically.
• Implement and promote energy conservation measures, seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Lead daily meetings and guide subordinates by training and developing their career growth.
• Ensures that all subordinates conform to the hotel’s employee handbook and policies such as grooming and behaviour.
• Conduct daily inspections of engineering plant rooms and random inspections of work performed by subordinates.

What you bring

• Preferably a Diploma holder in Building/Facilities Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum four (4) years as Building/Facilities Technician with hands-on skills, and/or minimum two (2) years as a Senior Technician/M&E Supervisor/Maintenance Officer or equivalent, with strong Technical knowledge
• Minimum one (1) year of administrative experience, preferably in a hospitality or engineering-related field, will be an added advantage
• Equipped with basic Computer Skills (i.e. MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Positive learning attitude, an eye for details, being actively prepared for urgent/emergency work, and a growth mindset

Schedule & Hours:
