Job Responsibilities

• To support the construction team for M&E engineering works.
• Planning/scheduling and coordination of M&E works.
• Project coordination, supervision, and monitoring of the progress of site work.
• Coordinate M&E engineering work and work closely with other department staff to resolve site discrepancies and technical issues.
• Oversee and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements.
• Ensure quality work in order to achieve CONQUAS and/or QM requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and sub-contractors on M&E issues.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields. PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Preferably with MOHH or HDB experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit or BIM software.

Purpose and Scope

• Provide maintenance works and plant equipment to support the Operation

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources
• Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management.
• Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives viz predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure
• Review budget, monitor spending against budget. control cost
• Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walkdowns, implement safety initiatives, and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties’ maintenance work
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution
• Ensure that maintenance works, and plant equipment comply with Statutory Requirements
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical engineering
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a Power Plant environment or oil & gas industry

We are looking for an Area Manager to join the Field Engineering Department at Site.

Main duties will be:

• Coordinate all engineering works and disciplines in his area
• Coordinate & Manage Model Reviews, issuance and closure of Clash reports, Site Surveys as appropriate
• Be familiar with the engineering budget for the project
• Buy into and agree the Project schedule for effectively managing the progress against schedule, and suggest / agree remedial action where necessary with the Lead Discipline Engineers
• Know and understand schedule milestones. Be aware of any bonuses and penalties on milestones. Understand what engineering have to contribute to successfully achieve milestones. Manage the Lead Discipline Engineers to achieve the milestones
• Understand constructability issues and ensure these are reflected in the design
• Require engineering work to be executed in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications and standards, including Wood health, safety, environmental and quality procedures
• Ensure that the change flags are raised by the respective disciplines to the Project Engineering manager (PEM) / Project Manager (PM).
• Prepare the miscellaneous documents (e.g. construction contract requisitions) in accordance with guidelines provided by the PEM / Manager – Project Engineering
• Follow up with Lead Engineers for adequate and appropriate population of the DMS for accurate progress updating as required

Main requirements:

• At least 10 years of related experience in an Engineering department in oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
• At least 5 years of experience as Project Engineer.
