The BMS Engineer deployed on site is required to perform planned and ad-hoc maintenance works including supervise the Technicians and Contractors in carrying out the works in specific projects. Job Description:

• Responsible for on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Supervise & coordinate day-to-day site works, including sub-contract works, safety and quality control.
• Site inspection & upkeep site record.
• Liaise with consultants, client etc.
• Other duties assigned by Site Manager / PM.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Graduate Bachelor in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• 3-5 years work experience in Building Construction.
• Able to work independently.
• Autodesk Revit MEP experience will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Perform process flow analysis to identify areas for improvement in line balancing, cycle time, and manufacturing cycle efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production layouts, capacity plans and improve resource utilization.
• Develop workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities
• Analyze time studies and production metrics to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient workflows and improve ergonomic standards.
• Provides product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices.
• Lead initiatives for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Utilize software tools like SketchUp Pro for layout design

Requirements

• Recognized degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with expertise in line balancing/cycle time and process improvement.
• Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, or other simulation software.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall execution of projects based on project requirements.
• Review mechanical and/or electrical system designs, specifications, calculations and other submittals.
• Oversee the project assessment phases.
• Ensure the mechanical and/or electrical systems designs and models developed are in accordance to project requirements.
• Lead the tendering processes and is responsible for the projects’ costs and budgets.
• Manage a team of engineers and ensures continuous performance improvement.
• May also be expected to perform the responsibilities of a Qualified Person in accordance with the Building Control Act.
• Required to work in office and at project sites.
