DxD Hub is seeking an experienced UI/UX engineer for our product development for our Digital Diagnostics Team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving the user interface and experience of digital health products in collaboration with external partners (especially clinicians). The ideal candidate should possess a strong usability engineering skills and able to translate expectation to visualisation and handover to technical team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design innovative app experiences based on the understanding of personas, their behaviors and needs as well as competitive market insights.
• Collaborate with partners to understand their goals and propose a user-centric approach to improve digital services.
• Communicate design ideas through tools such as sketches, user journeys, storyboards, mind maps, wireframes, and clickable prototypes.
• Drive user research activities such as, usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and translate research findings into meaningful recommendations.

Job Requirements:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance planning cum execution and vendor management.
• To take charge of new tools technical assessment and tender creation (equipment cum process application startup) and service contract tender set-up
• Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) to achieve better measurement repeatability (MSA, GR&R, SPC etc).
• To set-up appropriate process and product control plan and out of control action plans (OCAP)
• Provide technical training to related staff on best-known practices in terms of application metrology recipe creation.

Job Summary:

The HPC Storage Engineer will be responsible for managing the storage infrastructure within HPC environments. This role involves monitoring storage performance and optimizing through tuning and troubleshooting. Successful candidate with demonstrated experience in the HPC storage field may be considered for a Senior position.

Responsibilities:

Storage administration and optimization

• Work with Managed Services teams in managing and administering the storage infrastructure.
• Ensure storage reliability and availability within HPC system.
• Provide support on technical queries and troubleshooting storage-related issues.
• Implement best practices for storage monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor utilization rate, allocation and analyse the report for capacity planning.
• Conduct storage performance test and analysis.
• Collaborate with other teams for enhancement of storage performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for HPC storage infrastructure and processes.

Data management

• Create and execute a data placement strategy to optimize storage performance.
• Maintain data protection and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.

Designing and planning

• Assess future requirements and plan for storage expansion.
• Assist in the designing of future HPC system acquisition.
• Explore and evaluate emerging solutions in HPC storage technology.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, IT or other relevant areas.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing storage infrastructure.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments and command line interface (CLI).
• Good knowledge of HPC storage principles.
• Experience in managing parallel file system (Lustre, GPFS, BeeGFS).
• Good knowledge of RDMA-based interconnect (InfiniBand, RoCE).
• Demonstrate ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• To be considered for Senior position, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in roles that involve the deployment of HPC storage infrastructure, covering key areas such as designing, installing, configuring, documentation and providing admin/user training.

A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (A*STAR ID Labs) is seeking for a Scientist to join us in our mission to be a leading centre of infectious diseases research. A*STAR ID Labs aims to develop a cohesive A*STAR response to drive and deliver translational infectious diseases research to better health and economic outcomes.

The candidate will be joining the Antimicrobial Chemical Biology Lab, a newly established group in A*STAR ID Labs focusing on the development of synthetic antimicrobial compounds for potential therapeutic application against infection.

Research projects will encompass various tasks such as:

• Chemical synthesis
• In vitro antimicrobial activity testing
• Understanding mechanisms of action
• In vivo efficacy evaluation.
