Asst Project Engineer

• To assist the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to conduct kick-off, pre-project/project meetings to ensure team members is clear on the objectives, deliverable, Quality, equipment’s Lead-time, Safety and construction requirements.

• Perform product assembly, equipment and machine sub-module assembly according to specifications
• Generate require documentation from Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly drawings
• Running simulations or conducting basic analyses to support design decisions.
• Assisting engineers in creating and updating technical drawings, schematics, and other design documents.
• Support and involvement in PD, NPI and MP phases
• Generate PFMEA, technical reports and perform Failure Analysis (FA) on products
• Hand on electrical hard wiring & components installation
• Conducting research on new technologies, materials, or manufacturing processes that could benefit the project.
• Maintaining organized records of design documents, test results, and other relevant paperwork.
• Liaising with other departments such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Perform 5S and ad hoc duties as requested

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent experience with Linux/MCSE/Unix Certification(s).
• Must have knowledge and working experience of Linux, preferably 2+ years hands-on experience in system administration for production systems.
• Experience in OS patching and upgrade, system security, OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, backup and recovery techniques.
• Working experience in networking (TCP/IP), physical hardware and/or storage systems.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Unix (Solaris or AIX or other Unix) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and working experience of apache http web server, middleware WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ, etc. will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experiences in Integrated Security Access Management software such as IBM ISAM will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience of JDBC and Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps will be advantageous.

Backend Engineer

About the Role:

We are in search of a proficient Backend Engineer eager to tackle challenges in understanding complex requirements, ensuring solution alignment with project objectives, and contributing to the software development lifecycle. If your passion lies in developing secure, high-performance backend systems, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with product and design counterparts to transform PRD and UED specifications into robust backend solutions, including the development of proof-of-concept applications as necessary.

Craft and oversee comprehensive technical documentation, actively participate in design reviews to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

Develop backend components adhering to coding standards, refine based on review feedback, and ensure high-quality software approval.

Lead comprehensive testing efforts - unit, functional, performance, and security to maintain software reliability and security.

Manage software release processes, including crafting upgrade/installation scripts, and support DevOps operations during deployment phases.

Provide advanced troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes in testing or live service environments.

What We’re Looking For:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 3 years of backend development experience.

Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Spring Boot; experience with MyBatis, RESTful APIs, Redis, and Kafka.

Strong skills in relational database management, schema design, and SQL optimization and tuning.

Exceptional debugging and problem-solving abilities, capable of decomposing complex requirements into solvable tasks.

Experienced in using Git and familiar with CI/CD deployment practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with software architectural principles, cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
