Primary Objectives of Position

• To perform monitoring and control operations for NEL Power Supply & Environment Control System (ECS) via ISCS in the Operational Control Centre.

Major Responsibilities

▪ To report, monitor alarms/tripping/fault occurrence and inform maintenance team to verify at site and to follow up on fault/alarm reported.

▪ To support/participate/perform testing and commissioning via remote/local operation associated with Power and ECS installations.

▪ To carry out remote switching operation for the ventilation system during routine and emergency situations.

▪ To carry out remote switching operation for the 22kV, 1500V DC and 400V equipment to restore the power supply under fault or intake outage conditions.

▪ To carry out remote switching for electrical isolation and normalization from OCC with the certification of authorization issued by LEW in support of routine and maintenance operation.

▪ Exercise decisions in advising and give authorization on equipment isolation and normalization to operation and maintenance staff

▪ To carry out any other task or work as assigned by supervisor.

You will be a key contributor to our AWS Cloud migration project, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing applications for the cloud environment. Your extensive experience in ETL tools, data warehousing concepts and expertise in AWS Cloud services will be crucial in ensuring the success of our transformative project.

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions for applications migrating to the AWS Cloud platform.
• Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources (e.g., databases, flat files, APIs), transform as per business requirements and load it in to data warehouse or other data storage systems.
• Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources and ensure it is transformed and loaded correctly into the target system, maintaining data quality and integrity.
• Write complex SQL queries and use transform logic to clean, aggregate, and transform data as per business requirements.
• Ensure ETL processes are optimized for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Implement data validation rules and perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

Responsibilities :

• Be trained in reliability tests to understand the test requirement and workflow.
• Prepare and submit laboratory reliability report per laboratory requirement.
• Perform data analysis to determine any abnormal test result or error in testing.
• Report to Engineers on the findings and assist to provide the action plan.
• Work with supervisors and shift technicians to clarify and/or perform follow up actions such as amendment or retest if required.
• For product issue,provide findings and follow up with Failure Analysis team to obtain the FA result.
• For laboratory error,with the instruction from engineers to work with supervisors to come out with corrective actions and arrange with re-test if necessary.
