Job Description:

• Design and project management of mechanical and electrical engineering systems (MVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary, etc) for building projects in the various sectors such as residential, office, commercial, hospital, institutional, etc. Engineers are expected to carry out design work, attendance at consultants meetings and management of the relevant M&E aspects of the construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Degree holder with min. 5 years’ experience or Diploma holders with 8 years’ experience in design and implementation.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Possess initiative, drive and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal/communicational skills
• 4.5 days’ work week
• Experience in construction industry would be an added advantage

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage a team of officers in implementing distribution cables and equipment renewal projects
• Plan and execute distribution renewal projects according to approved budget
• Formulate and review work procedures and practices
• Calling of tender and quotation
• Purchase of work equipment and tools
• Lead and participate in study team, task force or committee
• Attend to customers’ complaints and feedback

Job Description

• Assist Professional Engineer in liaison, preparation and follow up of Authority Submission.
• Work closely with Clients / Architects / Structural Engineers / Quantity Surveyors, etc. to produce design from concept to detail design.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.

• Coordinate, monitor, and control Architectural subcontractor's progress and quality of works
• Coordinate and work closely with the archi team in solving technical and detailing issues of Architectural works as per site condition
• Attend Project coordination meetings if necessary
• Conduct inspections (e.i. with RTO) to ensure workers are carried out according to contract specifications, codes of practices, and safety regulations
