• Preferably with a minimum of 3 or 5 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, principles, codes, and standards is advantageous.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop creative solutions.
• Having LTA /Tunnel experiences will be an added advantage

• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Assist employees in ensuring knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance with all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
• Manage to lift all equipment, handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials, and perform quality audits per the required schedule.
• Monitor an efficient system, record all project activities, and analyze all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.
• Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.

Job Description

• Design of mechanical engineering works e.g. ACMV, Fire protection systems, plumbing and sanitary for assigned projects
• Conducting technical feasibility study, life cycle study and planning for building engineering.
• Preparation of study reports, design reports, technical notes and public consultation papers.
• Preparation of tender documents and technical specifications.
• Evaluation of tenders and preparation of tender assessment reports.
• Provide support in project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects
• Good project management and technical skills
• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and execute all phases of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.

· Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UI kits to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.

· Leverage industry-standard tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe XD to create high-quality deliverables.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business goals and user needs into innovative and effective design solutions.

· Gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative feedback to continuously improve designs.

· Produce a well-rounded portfolio showcasing project work, emphasizing a deep understanding of project objectives and measurable outcomes.

· Clearly and effectively communicate design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.

· Assist product engineers in implementing designs and resolving design-related challenges.

· Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements or new methods.

· Continuously advocate for the user, ensuring customer needs are met beyond the obvious through an intuitive design approach.

· Tackle challenges creatively and solve problems effectively, adapting to project needs and audience requirements.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

· Proven experience in all aspects of the design process, from ideation to execution.

· Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing design systems and UI kits.

Skills & Tools:

· Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe XD.

· Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset for problem-solving.

· Ability to synthesize and act on user feedback effectively.
