Responsibilities:
- Manage optimum level of operations and maintenance of automation assets and ensure the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) is running with zero downtime.
- Work closely with operation managers to manage customers’ expectations, contract deliverables, and project goals for their logistics solutions.
- Proactively identify, propose, and undertake process improvement projects in improving operations performance and drive cost savings initiatives.
- Responsible and accountable for customer's inventory stored in ASRS system by providing ensuring KPIs are met and generates reports as per request.
- Monitor and manages customer KPI, Inventory movements and activities to ensure just in time delivery.
- Work with vendors to diagnose problems and determine corrective solutions.
- Responsible and accountable for inventory control of critical spares parts, ensuring parts availability through early parts purchase.
- Partner with IT team and storage system vendor to troubleshoot system disruptions ensuring prompt recovery.
- Usage of appropriate subcontractors and ensure clearly defined performance requirements
- Provide specialist expertise on overall maintenance of ASRS, robotics and automation to support business operations
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in supporting Dematic Multi Shuttle and Swisslog Auto Store is a must.
- 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in maintenance of automation systems for logistics industries.
- 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in end-to-end project implementation for Robotics and Industrial Engineering.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to read & use Electrical Single Line and Mechanical Drawings is preferred.
- Knowledge in using AutoCAD and simulation software is preferred but not essential.
- Experience and strong knowledge in Material handling systems, Equipment and Programs with hands on in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and other systems is preferred.
- Experience in warehouse management system, warehouse control system ( SynQ and Dematic) and warehouse execution system.
- Experience in warehouse operations ( Inbound /Outbound / Inventory) is preferred.
