Job Purposes
The Executive / Senior Engineer is responsible for overall administrator and management of
Maintenance Management System (MMS) and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of
maintenance activities of Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) Group. The core focus of the job will be
ensuring proper configuration and maintenance for MMS and analyzing maintenance performance data,
implementing process improvements, and supporting asset reliability efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintain user roles, data quality and system’s performance.
2. Provide user support and ensure system performance monitoring and troubleshoot Maximo-related
issues.
3. Perform routine maintenance on MMS.
4. Develop custom reports and dashboards to track and report on the effectiveness of maintenance
interventions and the resulting improvements in asset performance.
5. Facilitate audits conducted by internal auditors, the authority, and other external agencies.
6. Facilitate and coordinate external projects with LTA and/or external parties.
7. May be required to perform work during night hours and over weekends/public holidays.
Qualifications and Work Experience
1. Degree in Engineering discipline.
2. In-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo Asset Management Platform.
3. Understanding of IT infrastructure, databases and integration methods,
4. Experience with database management (SQL Server) and analytical tools (Power BI, Qlik).
5. Prior work experience in railway industry will be advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IBM Maximo Asset Management
2. Proficiency in written communication and developing procedures.
3. Experience with automation software such as Power Automate is desired.
4. Basic coding skills (VBA, R, or Python) will be advantageous.
