Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Engineer professional to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to collaborate with various departments to support and maintain our software systems.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and troubleshoot production issues (Linux VMs, Vendor Product, SFTP).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.

Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues.

Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions via JIRA.

Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support.

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and issue status.

Ensure proper deployment and release of software updates & infrastructure patches/upgrades.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours. There are two shifts, Morning (7 AM to 4 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 11 PM), running 7 days a week.

Deployments during silent hours.

Development work within the vendor product (about 10%-20% of time).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

2–4 years of experience in Production Support or related role.

Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Job Description:

• Review tender specifications / customers’ requirements and prepare process design.
• Obtain quotation from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on the requirements.
• Interact closely with vendors to understand new technologies and effective implementation of customer applications using vendor’s information.
• Interact closely with customers on technical information and clarifications.
• Prepare cost effective costings.
• Prepare commercial & technical proposals with specifications for timely bid submissions.
• Generate / coordinate P&ID and General Arrangement drawings.
• Work with Business Development Manager to apply costing and process design strategies to increase probability of winning bids.
• Coordinate with Process / Mechanical / Electrical & Instrumentation Team for technical clarification support if required.
• Follow up with customers on submitted proposals and potential opportunities.
• Negotiate with vendors and customers if required.
• Upon award of projects, review and verify completeness of PO contract and compliance with agreed requirements.
• Communicate and nurture relationships with customers to drive more opportunities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• Knowledge or previous experience in water treatment process and municipal wastewater treatment such as Filtration, UF, RO, EDI, SRU, MBBR, MBR etc.
• Knowledge and experience on pumps, motors, valves, piping, mechanical and electrical components for oil and gas industry is added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work on own initiative.
• Willing to travel for site visits, sales presentation to customers and technical clarification meeting occasionally.

Job Description:

• Review the basic process design from the proposal/sales team;
• Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on project specification;
• Prepare engineering calculations and equipment sizing;
• Review and understand project specifications to ensure company design complies with customer specifications;
• Prepare equipment datasheets (valve list, equipment list, piping schedule, instrument list, etc);
• Supervise and review complex equipment skid 3D model to ensure compliance with project specification;
• Supervise the preparation of general arrangement drawings, piping detail drawings; skid structure arrangement drawings;
• Interface with EIA (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation) engineer in preparation of project documents;
• Send inquiries to vendors to obtain price quotations;
• Review of vendors, fabricators and sub-contractors quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications;
• Review of vendors, fabricators and sub-contractors engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Participate in internal and external design reviews;
• Prepare O&M manuals;
• Support testing and commissioning

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering;
• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment;
• Experience in the O&G industry is a plus;
• Experience in the design of complex skid-based industrial water treatment systems;
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Knowledge of industry standards and specifications;
• Able to work in multi-cultural teams;
• Proficient in MS Office applications;
• Willing to travel
