Job Scope:

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or relevant fields from a recognized institution
• Preferably with 3 years of relevant experience in IVD market or in technical support / field service experience handling biomedical equipment or related medical products
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and trouble shooting skills

Ensures reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities and controls with an objective to constantly improve site production and cost performance.

Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

Promotes, supports, co-ordinates and facilitates multi-disciplinary, multi-level teamwork (reliability) improvement activities, both reactive and proactive, and assist in implementation and follow-up of action items

Major Responsibilities:

Ensures reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities and controls with an objective to constantly improve site production and cost performance.

Assists in the development of improved Reliability strategies/program using with a view of process safety, yields, capacity and uptime performance.

Provides technical support in Reliability issues and assists in trouble shooting process or equipment issues. Carryout RCFA for the repeated failures and failures that has an impact to production, quality and safety.

Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

Perform RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) for all critical assets/systems using RCM software and implement the action items generated from RCM.

Run online/offline condition monitoring program site wide and predict the failures early.

Promotes, supports, co-ordinates and facilitates multi-disciplinary, multi-level teamwork (reliability)

improvement activities, both reactive and proactive, and assists in implementation and follow-up of action items.

Provides inputs to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliabilityrelated risks that could adversely impact plant operations.

Perform analysis of asset performance including Asset utilization, Overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life and capital replacement plans as well as other parameters that define Site MEP

KPIs such as availability, maintenance performance, reliability and R&M costs of assets.

Evaluate content of maintenance plans in CMMS including methods, maintenance frequencies and spare parts needed.

Gate keeper for the review, implementing and follow up for the Local Authority related assets.

Examples are the MOM’s statutory pressure vessels, SCDF’s P&FM equipment, etc.

Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Education

A bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Mechanical engineering discipline.

Experience

Mechanical engineering degree with at least 3 years work experience or a diploma with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical/ biological/ chemical/ oil & gas industries.

3-5 years of reliability experience driving RCM studies and RCFA

Technical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience in maintenance of processing equipment.

Skills

Comfortable working in a team and matrix environments; high degree of initiative and self-motivation

Scientific approach to solving problems; makes data-based decisions.

Keen in driving and adopting new technologies.

Knowledge of CMMS, Reliability, and proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project).

Knowledge on vibration analysis, RCM and RBI

Good written and oral communication skills

Interpersonal skills and a "hands-on" attitude

cGMP experience is a plus

Requirement and Skills

• Participate in studies and technical specifications in order to identify the specific configuration and development
• Present standard interfaces
• Prepare the technical specifications of the interfaces and mapping
• Ensure customer ‘specifications and development in order to deliver custom software
• Prepare the Technical Specification Forms (TSF), based on BSD (Business Solution Description) for specific functionalities
• Ensure the customer specific development based on TSFs
• Ensure the unit testing of specific developments.
• Correct the bugs reported by the test team
• Assist in the parameterization of the Solution in order to meet the customers’ needs.
• Configure and integrate the different modules of the solution
• Participate in the installation of the different project deliverables at the client's site
• Assist the client in the integration and acceptance tests
• Detect and coordinate the correction of bugs, in order to guarantee the expected functionalities in a sustainable way
• Diagnose and correct bugs reported by the customer
• Guarantee the Certification, the Acceptance and MTP phase and the Go live phase
• Guarantee certifications with international networks (Visa, Mastercard) in order to approve and certify the solution and its interfaces
• Assist the client in the acceptance testing phase and implement a pilot to test the production environment
• Prepare and deliver patches and ensure the handover with the HPS support team to ensure the transition of the project to the production phase
• Ensure the reporting of its activity in order to contribute to its performance
• Ensure the reporting of incidents and anomalies detected to the impacted teams
• Report daily activities on HPS tools

Skills and requirements

• Good command of testing techniques
• Good proficiency in Oracle databases
• Knowledge of HP-UX, LINUX, Unix AIX, Solaris
• Knowledge of PL/SQL; C; Pro*C; Java scripting (JavaScript); Shell system.
