Your Responsibilities: -

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify mechanical anomalies, proactively addressing potential issues and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Perform repair work on mechanical plant equipment, including diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring equipment functionality.
• Assist Team Leaders and engineers with mechanical maintenance tasks, collaborating to address complex issues and maintain equipment reliability.
• Conduct daily hands-on troubleshooting and routine maintenance of mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Update daily maintenance reports for mechanical systems, documenting work done, issues encountered, and solutions implemented for tracking and reference purposes.

You will need: -

• At least 2 year of relevant working experience in mechanical maintenance
• NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• Only Singaporean

Requirements

Job Description:

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections of new equipment and perform necessary rectifications.
• Service equipment outdoors as required.
• Troubleshoot and overhaul heavy equipment engines and hydraulic pump systems (e.g., Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Articulated Dump Trucks, Soil Compactors, Motor Graders, Bulldozers, Skid Steers, Backhoe Loaders).
• Prepare and repair equipment for rental or sale.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of workshop premises, tools, and equipment.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Only Singaporean or Permanent Residents can apply
• Hold a NITEC or Diploma in an engineering-related field.
• Proficient in technical writing in Standard English.
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and repair/service manuals for independent troubleshooting and repair.
• Preferably have experience in a heavy equipment manufacturer or dealership service/repair department.
• Mechanical and some electrical skills for heavy equipment are preferred.
• Possession of a Class 3 license would be advantageous.
