Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical machines.
• Identify and diagnose issues with machinery to perform timely repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with the development of existing or new machines.
• Helps in the sourcing of machine parts and liaise with vendors when required.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Chemical Technician

Working Days & Hours: 3-4 Day | 8am to 8pm (12 hour rotating shift)

Working Location: Jurong Island (Transport provided at Jurong East)

Salary Range: $2000-$2600

• The Chemical Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operations of the process units and equipment by measuring, recording and controlling process operating parameters.
• Expected to diagnose and rectify systems and components’ faults in accordance to established procedures and specifications and to ensure that the process units and equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance.
• Performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
• Carry out filter changes.
• Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations.
• Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors.
• Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment.
• Performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
• Proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products.
• Preparing plant equipment for maintenance
• Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
• Performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
• Performing emergency response activities and drills

Job Requirement:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
• At least 3 years’ working experience as Process Technician in a chemical industry

Responsibilities

• Proficient in mechanical equipment operations, maintenance, and team collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with pump overhauls, including centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
• Familiar with performance matrix environments.
• Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Right First Time (RFT) techniques.
• Skilled in mechanical equipment troubleshooting and analysis.
• Capable of creating Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments (RA) within documentation systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries for senior positions; at least 2 years for junior positions.
• Willing to work in 12 hours rotating shift.
