Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Working knowledge of computer hardware and software preferred (e.g. server, firewall or network equipment configuration)

• Knowledge in implementing CCTV system ICT projects has added advantage

• Knowledge in Windows/Linux hardening, security safety testing and system configuration

• Knowledge of virtualization software (VMWare, HyperV) will be added advantage

• Able to work independently and as a team

• Willing to learn and shows good attitude, agile and able to handle additional roles

Responsibilities:

• To consolidate commercial and technical information needed for tender and proposal.
• Supervision of construction activities including monitoring of project scheduling activities, coordination work with all parties involved (Authorities, Main Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supplier, etc) , ensure all execution of works are in accordance to the project specifications and quality assurance.
• Enforcement of all safety procedures are properly carried out in accordance to the company safety policy during the project.
• Competent in liaise and attend meeting with consultant / client / authorities / main contractor.
• Others including prepare submissions, identify project issues or impacts, and take proactive action, coordinating technical efforts of all project members, report site progress & etc.

• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Department Overview

The department is responsible for supporting and developing Middleware usage for applications used by worldwide users.

A technical expert that will leverage on automation and develop continuous delivery operations. Leverage on automation practices and tools to increase service value and develop continuous delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will be on boarded in middleware team and will be primarily working on MQ and J2EE Team. We manage the global middleware services for the scope covering MQ Series, Web/Application Servers, and Deployment tools.

• Global production service operations support in middleware technologies and platforms
• Accountable the overall service reliability, availability and stability of the technical scopes
• Provide technical expert support for managed workloads, including analyzing and resolving incidents, problem, service request and change process management
• Partner with the development, project and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications to participate in project deliverables activities
• Drive through culture of continuous improvements for the production environment through automation or manual work and performance hygiene
• Technical analysis of production platforms to identify and remediate performance issues
• Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Engage in several DevOps disciplines, namely CI/CD, Continuous Test, Continuous Monitoring, and Continuous Compliance
• Operation and further development of middleware platforms and the associated interfaces
• Development of self-service interfaces and their workflows
• Exercise specialist responsibility in strategic projects and initiatives

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the following technical platforms:Messaging: IBM MQ (Must Have), Rabbit MQ (Good to have)
  Middleware Technologies: Websphere, Jboss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka
  Operating Systems: Linux, Unix and/or Windows
  Monitoring and Data analytics tools: Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos
  Scripting tools: Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell
  
• Good understanding of ITIL Service Management framework such as Incident, Problem, and Change processes
• Experience in one or more of the following technical platforms:Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, GIT
  
• Able to work on shift and with on-call support on rotation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and logical skills
• Customer service oriented and a strong team player

Advantage if you have the following:

• DevOps engineering experience
• Experience working in the banking / financial institution

• Lead Mechanical and HVAC disciplines for CAPEX projects, overseeing FEED consultants, EPC contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and issue design bases, datasheets, project specifications, and scopes of work for feasibility studies, FEED, and EPC projects.
• Review and evaluate proposals from consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Validate and approve Mechanical and HVAC deliverables in CAPEX projects.
• Support regulatory approval processes and coordinate with consultants and contractors.

• Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and ensure accurate engineering databases.

Requirements
