Job scope including but not limited to:

· Perform installation or maintaining of the robot parts (such as exchanging motor drive, battery, etc.) based on installation / assembly instructions.

· Ensure that firmware and hardware drivers are up to date.

· Perform sensor calibration and configure sensor settings.

· Perform data collection and new sensor evaluations and testing.

· Setup and configure networking infrastructure/devices for communications in the test site and the robot.

· Setting up the robot with the respective software and configurations needed to perform the operation / test.

· Setting up the fleet management applications and communications parameters needed on both the server and on the robots.

· Perform initial investigation on the issues on the robot and narrow down to the potential component.

· Fix issues related to incorrect configurations or settings (Software / Hardware) on the robots.

· Report issues or bug on the robot with reproduction information and logs

· Basic soldering and crimping

Skills/Requirement:

· Diploma/degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science, or any Robotics related discipline.

· Any of the below knowledges or experiences are highly recommended:

o Basic experience with Ubuntu (Linux) OS

o Basic networking knowledge (router, CAN, LAN connections, Wifi setup) and wiring connections setup

o Experience working with robotics or related hardware systems that include cameras, sensors etc.

o Basic knowledge on file systems and

o Experience with PLC Programming

· Self-directed and able to work without supervision.

· Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Willing to learn attitude and initiative to solve problems.

Responsibilities:

The Embedded/Senior Embedded Engineer (Linux) is responsible for delivering projects and liaising with clients to deliver customized Embedded solutions.

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux systems and applications.
• Participate in project planning and management.
• Perform Testing, defect tracking, bug fixing, version/release control and other process control mechanism for software development.
• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.
• Create quality proof-of-concept mock-ups and prototypes for user, customers and product owner.
• Produce Technical Document for software developed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging Embedded System technologies and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Process strong understanding of Linux and a strong background in embedded Linux operating system.
• Experiences designing and implementing software that runs on different CPU architectures like ARM, RISC-V and x86.
• Expertise in developing boot mechanisms, boot loader, strong partition layouts, device tress, kernel, services and user-space applications to manage system via RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Python and bash scripting.
• Hand-on experience with build environment like CMake, Bazel and Makefiles.
• Ability to integrate vendor pre-built bootloader and kernel binary into SW development flow is a MUST.
• Expertise in hardware and embedded systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with secure boot, encrypted filesystems, Trusted platform modules will be a Plus.

• Familiarity with statutory submission procedures such as FSSD, M&E RI, Architectural RI, Structural Inspections, etc.
• Experience in supervision and project management of A&A works.

Job Requirements:

• Familiar with critical facilities including Chiller/Cooling Tower, CRAC, UPS, STS, Genset … etc.
• Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems including MS Excel, PowerPoint and CHINESE word processing.
• Demonstrated experience in client reporting and preparation of reports required.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands
