The incumbent will design control panels for Building Management System. Producing design documents for BMS and ensure Building Management System software or equipment aligns with safety and quality standard. Maintaining existing Building Management System by fixing errors, running tests and updating software.

Requirements:

• Preferably to possess minimum 1 year experience in the Construction / Industrial Engineering industry.
• Able to build and install BMS system to monitor and regulate various building services, including ACMV, lighting and power metering.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise and work closely with the consultant, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E work to meet the project schedule.
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Prepare correspondence reports, suggesting corrective actions or value added recommendations according to best practice when applicable,
• Responsible for keeping daily work record, including additional work claim to the clients and from the subcontracts.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 5 years working experienced in the related field is required for this position

Job Description

Performs the duties of assisting the department in training administration. Performs the duties of assisting the department in energy, utilities and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) conservation as outlined by the Energy Conservation Act (ECA), Carbon Pricing Acts (CPA), Public Utilities Board (PUB) and related implementing regulations.

Learning and Training Development Needs

Identify current knowledge gaps and future training requirements.

Develop training plans, delivery methods, and training material and conduct training for the company to enhance the technical knowledge of the organization.

Ensure timely registration of internal course applications and notification of the training details.

Coordinate and record training activities, conduct staff orientation, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Audits and agency matters

Participates in audits, visits, and dialogues with third parties and authorities (NEA, PUB, JTC etc.)

Assists in internal audits and assess the company’s Energy Management System, GHG verification, and related management schemes.

Utilities and GHG emission management

Gathers data on utilities consumptions and GHG emissions.

Assists in the amendments of the monitoring plan, procedure, source, and stream. Analyses the different consumption streams on a regular basis to look for patterns and conduct trending based on modelling methods.

Raise awareness about the need of reducing energy usage, utility usage, GHG emissions, and water usage.

Utilities efficiency and sustainability projects

Assists in exploring and implementing effective utility management practices

Assists in developing carbon neutral and/or de-carbonization programs that supports business and environmental sustainability.

Assists in preparing official proposals for new projects, including estimated costs and anticipated savings in energy.

Coordinates with the other departments during project execution phases.

Assists in monitoring both short-term and long-term programs and strategies designed to reduce utilities consumption.
