Job Description & Major Responsibilities
Service Engineers install, service, support, upgrade and maintain SCREEN equipment. Training is provided to support multiple equipment types. They perform a variety of moderate to complex assignments, diagnose equipment problems and make repairs or adjustments. Understand system parameters and interactions to allow process development and extensive electronic-mechanical troubleshooting on the equipment.
Being a Service Engineer, this person is to support the team in meeting customers’ expectations and company’s expectations. This person must be able to support machines and technically inclined. He is the direct support on machines at customers’ fab and the workforce to ensure customer satisfaction amongst our customers.
· To attend weekly meeting and presentation
· To write technical report
· To handle specific jigs during service jobs
· Assist senior colleagues to perform higher-level job like robot teaching & sub-units
· To perform 24x7 standby duties based on roster
· To perform ad-hoc shift work when needed when required.
· To perform ad-hoc delivery work
Desired Qualifications / Requirements / Competencies:
· Diploma in Electronics/Electrical /Microelectronics Engineering. Might consider ITE with experience
· Cleanroom working experience preferable but not a must
· Machine setup/installation/modification/servicing/trouble shooting/repair
· Willing to travel occasionally
· Able to work irregular hours when required
· Fresh graduates will be considered
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
· Demonstrate ability to work effectively with team members and customers
· Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills
· Require good communication skills, documentation and customer service skills
