What you will do:

As Service Sales Engineer, you will be part of Industrial Refrigeration Service team to handle sales and technical inquiries from customers by providing front end technical, commercial, and administrative support which will be assisted by the operations team in Singapore.

• Service business performance growth through pro-actively selling (existing and new initiatives)
• Sales Revenue, GM and AR overdue
• Maintain existing customer base and develop new customer base to ensure continuous business growth
• Customer relationships building and customer satisfaction
• Prepare and follow through of quotation
• Update of installed base, SFDC and Service Max opportunities
• Ensure JCI’s ethics, policies and procedures are followed

How You Will Do It:

• Proactive selling of Labour and Material (L&M), Retrofits, Parts, Preventive Service Agreements (PSA) and new initiatives through schedule and/or drop in visits
• Recommend solutions to customer requirements which will have company’s competitive advantage
• Understand pricing, quotation, technical proposal, clarification & negotiation with factory/vendors during quotation preparation, and budgeting
• Review received order against quotation, comments on T&C’s and book in/hand over of orders
• Represent the company to customers with professional appearance, maintain consistent communication with customers as well as establish the long-term relationship with them
• Maintain field intelligence and feedback pertinent information on competitor’s activities, product, prices, business performance and develop the necessary business strategies to ensure the company excels
• Execution of business operation and conduct are to conform to JC Singapore policies
• Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times
• Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior.

What We Look For:

• Engineering Degree onwards or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)
• 3 years and above experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, F&B, HVAC/Refrigeration or similar industries

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Lead Engineer's role for rotating equipment/packages on offshore projects
• Responsible for the design and selection of specialty rotating equipment on EPC projects, such as process gas compressors, gas turbines, sea water injection pumps, etc., through various engineering work phases (i.e., feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED studies, and detailed engineering for offshore, FPSO, and LNG projects)
• Responsible for the selection of specialty rotating equipment on EPC projects, such as process gas compressors, gas turbines (standard and combined cycle), sea water injection pumps, etc., in compliance with international API codes and client specification requirements
• Responsible for preparing technical specifications and data sheets for specialty rotating equipment and packages, such as gas turbine generators, centrifugal compressors, screw compressor packages, sea water injection pumps, reciprocating compressors, etc
• Responsible for the complete requisitioning of specialty rotating equipment and packages
• Coordinate work with inter-disciplines, clients, and suppliers
• Responsible for the technical evaluation of bids; prepare technical bid tabulation reports by interacting with suppliers, clients, and inter-disciplines
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and model review studies for packages, coordinate and close out mechanical-related issues
• Perform vendor document and design reviews for specialty rotating equipment and packages

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 20 years of offshore project experience (Well Head, Fixed Platforms, and FPSO) is preferred
• Possess relevant experience working on EPC projects with reputed international clients, with a minimum of 2 offshore projects worked as Lead Engineer
• Shall be well conversant with international industry codes such as ASME, API, etc
• Should possess coordination and good oral and written communication skills

• Spearhead business development efforts, identifying new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
• Engage with and manage client relationships at various levels, including C-suite executives.
• Negotiate terms for new engagements and renewals.
• Collaborate with the Client Services & Rewards team to achieve project objectives.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with current clients.
• Assist the Managing Director, in forming strategic alliances and partnerships.

• Need experience in Architectural metal works, metal cladding, Ceiling panels, Glass Wall, Glass Railing, Sky lights, Stainless Steel & Aluminium works.
• Overall management for the project with respect to contractual, budget, resources, design, procurement, construction, quality and safety.
• Lead the project team for the implementation and execution of works as according to planned schedule.
• Coordination and monitoring of progress amongst various subcontracting works.
• Liaise closely with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors through regular meetings to resolve administrative, design and contractual issues and updating of project progress report.
