Our client is a massive growing technology venture that is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer, to join their forward-thinking team dedicated to reshaping global systems through cutting-edge technology.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of IT infrastructure across multiple cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.) and on-premise servers.
• Champion best practices for software development and deployment, enforcing code quality and ensuring swift, secure, and reliable releases.
• Lead activities related to security, patch management, and vulnerability assessments, ensuring software and infrastructure are up-to-date and secure.
• Continuously improve monitoring tools and practices.
• Design and implement DevOps platforms such as CMDB.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of deployed services, including application architecture, infrastructure, and dependencies.
• Partner with development teams to ensure that software is designed for security, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement infrastructure as code templates for internal and external decentralized services.
• Implement operational excellence practices to ensure reliability and security.
• Improve performance and optimize costs.
• Implement security controls, best practices, and configuration management.
• Lead technical discussions with external partners such as cloud service providers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• 10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Zabbix, Open-Falcon, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of network security, host security, and data security.
• Self-driven and passionate about new technologies.
• Excellent skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or similar.
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO27001 is a plus.
• Passion for decentralized services is a plus.

• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of electrical, electronic, electro-hydraulic, and electro-pneumatic automation systems.
• Handle electrical / electronic / electro-hydraulic/electro-pneumatic/ automation equipment failures and carry out fault diagnosis with the aim to resolve the issue.
• Evaluate the planned maintenance schedule for fleet electrical, electronic, electro-hydraulic, and electro-pneumatic automation systems, as well as power generation, backup power sources, and fire detection systems, and then submit the findings to the technical manager.
• Study areas for improvements and modifications on electro/automation system and create methodical recommendations for efficient operation of the vessel.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of onboard sea going vessels experience as an Electrical Technical Officer in oil/gas/chemical tankers or offshore support vessels.
• Hands on experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills encompassing various areas such as electrical, instrumentation, automation, control, as well as air conditioning and ventilation systems.
