Team Introduction

The Business Infrastructure team aims to provide unified access layer and architecture depth services for the organisation's internal business lines and products. The role

As our new Project Engineer, you will be part of the larger multi-disciplinary Ramboll buildings APAC. To succeed in this role, you must have bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Your role is based in Singapore, where you will work within the Civil/Structure Engineering Building team. You will be involved on a wide range of projects across Singapore and South-East-Asia which you may assign to from time to time.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Communicate with clients, consultants, RE/RTO, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
• Attend regular site meetings, inspections and monitoring of project progress.
• Provide regular project management reports for QP’s review.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors for technical issues, manage RFI, RFA, shop drawings etc. submissions.
• Manage changes to the project scopes, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Work with the team members to prepare as-built submission and other submissions to relevant competent authorities such as BCA, LTA, Nparks , PUB etc
• Any other C&S related matters which may raises from time to time

Team Introduction

The Technical Infrastructure NoSQL team, situated in Singapore, serves TikTok and its associated mid-platforms and business divisions. This team operates on an immense scale, overseeing tens of thousands of servers and managing data volumes surpassing the petabyte mark. The team has engineered its own distributed key-value (KV) and caching systems, as well as globally distributed table storage solutions and large-scale graph databases. Employing state-of-the-art hardware and software stack technologies, they are committed to the ongoing development of the next generation of products.

What you will be doing:

1. Design and develop an in-house distributed training and inference system for Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) on extensive graph datasets;

2. Implement the use of Graph Embedding and GNNs in practical, real-world applications, which may include risk management, among others;

3. Integrate TikTok's diverse application contexts, such as recommendation, search, and risk control, to design, implement, and optimize neural network algorithm models. The objective is to leverage the GE/GNN approach for tangible business advantages in data-driven real-world scenarios;

4. Investigate potential advancements in graph neural network algorithms. Collaborate in the development of graph neural network frameworks;

5. Plan and lead the development of new and advanced data analytic techniques, methodologies, and analytical solutions from design, prototyping, and testing;

6. Extract and integrate data from various sources, and create advanced models and algorithms suitable for the business use case;

7. Work in a team setting and apply proficiency in statistics, scripting, and programming languages required by the team;

Qualifications

What you should have:

- At least a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience;

- Proficiency in Python development and a basic understanding of C++ programming;

- Knowledgeable in TensorFlow and PyTorch, with hands-on experience in implementing popular Graph Embedding (GE) and Graph Neural Network (GNN) algorithms such as GCN, GraphSage, GAT, DeepWalk, LINE, etc. This experience should be based on existing GNN frameworks like DGL, PYG, or the native TensorFlow and PyTorch platforms.

Team Introduction

The Business Infrastructure team aims to provide unified access layer and architecture depth services for the organisation's internal business lines and products. Based on the internal infrastructure, Volcano Engine (or other public clouds) has two types of Infrastructure providers and is responsible for the organisation's architecture stability, architecture disaster recovery and service experience.

The Middleware team is a bridge between the internal users and their important data stored in the infrastructure systems or public cloud service. In this team, we use a lot of modern techniques, like service mesh/governance, DTS for various types of storage, and different strong consistency models, to help users run the same copy of code in different service providers. At the same time, we build probing services to evaluate service quality between different providers and help users to reduce their costs.

What you will be doing:

1. Contribute to the data transfer service for different types of storage products and make it scalable, stable with high performance.

2. Work together with the service mesh team to build a fully functional/high-performance/robust storage mesh layer.

3. Build a service to manage the storage metadata, and their credentials as well, running on different public cloud platforms.

4. Build an SLA service to make the service quality on different public cloud platforms accurate, reliable, visualized, and easy to diagnose issues for users.

5. Work with the other teams in the company to join different services together to promote the impacts our products bring to the world.

Qualifications

What you should have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields, with at least 5 years of relevant experience;

Build cloud migration and multi-cloud disaster recovery systems, promote the evolution of the company's architecture, and accelerate the process of business cloud migration.

Job Scope

Job Description

1. Participate in the optimization of ByteDance LIVE monetization business and serve the LIVE experience of billions of global users;

2. Adopt cutting-edge machine learning model to scientifically model massive user behaviour and consumption data, build high-performance/high-reliability architecture services, and bring users the ultimate experience in LIVE consumption;

3. Deeply participate in product/business discussions, fully analyze and understand user behaviour patterns, and provide optimization directions for the overall business.

Qualifications

1. Familiar with C/C++/ Python development, familiar with Linux multi-threaded /multi-process;

2. Familiar with commonly used machine learning and deep learning algorithms, including but not limited to boost machine, dnn, reinforcement learning, etc.;

3. Solid maths foundation, including probability statistics, numerical optimization, etc., sensitive to data, good at discovering, analyzing and solving problems from data;

4. Familiar with at least one of Flink, Spark, Hive etc., with big data parallel processing experience;

5. Experience in large-scale recommend system, advertising system, search engine is preferred;

6. 5 years of experience in game value strategy, e-commerce value strategy, and user psychology research is preferred;

Requirements
