• Proven experience in functional / system safety engineering, preferably in industries such as automotive, defense, or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of safety analysis techniques, including FMEA and FTA.
• Experience with safety-critical systems and knowledge of hardware and software safety mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in product development is a plus
• Experience in intelligent transportation and/or autonomous vehicle system development is preferred
• Certification in functional safety (e.g., CFSP) is a plus
• Knowledge in MIL-STD-882 and TR68 is a plus
