Configure, maintain, and support the infrastructure both cloud and on-premises.
Install, maintain, and support the various CI/CD, security and testing related tools
Create multi-stage CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and frequent releases to production; help delivery teams automate their build and deployment to public cloud
In some cases, act as a system administrator on different operating systems
Document, and share knowledge on developed DevSecOps solutions
WHO YOU ARE:
Strong Unix / Linux / Bash knowledge
Deep understanding of cloud computing, e.g. technologies, deployment, costing, HA/DR, etc
You should be able to coach delivery teams on DevOps principles, e.g. CI/CD, test automation, release automation etc. and engineering practices, e.g. TDD, BDD
Well versed with at least one of the public, private or hybrid cloud platforms such as Openstack, VMWare, OpenShift, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (GCP)
Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code using various tools including but not limited to Terraform, Pulumi, etc
Experience with developing and implementing processes to handle releases from development to operations while respecting internal rules, and offering solutions for rollback etc
You have a good understanding of microservice and event-driven architectures and DevSecOps practices which support relatively complex distributed systems
Strong RDBMS and NoSQL skill in deploying and fine-tuning such as MySQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch.
Good understanding of monitoring and hands-on experience of setting up and configuring monitoring tools (e.g. ELK, Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk)
Overall, 3 - 8 years of experience in platform automation, applying various DevOps principles
At least 4 years of experience in people management and past experience mentoring engineers

We’re looking for engineers passionate about building cross-platform networking components. Ideally, you will bring us the latest evolutions in the domain in order to deliver industry-leading VPN performance and features. You'll be working on our servers and client apps, and will have access to commit to any repo across the company. What you’ll be doing
Write high quality, well architected, modular code which is easy to read and maintain.
Ensure your code and the application as a whole have excellent automated test coverage.
Ensure the app has a clean, simple and robust architecture to enable various teams to easily contribute code for the long term.
Ensure the build and test pipelines are fast and stable.
Provide high quality code reviews for your team and other contributors to the code base.
Lead by example and provide guidance and mentorship to other developers.
Provide technical insights to Product Management.
Undertake spikes, prototyping, and R&D work to investigate feasibility, de-risk complex projects and cut through uncertainty.
Write clear and comprehensive tech designs and test plans, and ensure work is broken down into bite sized chunks and accurately sized.
What you’ll need to succeed
Proven track record working in Rust, C++, or C.
Proficiency with IP networking, including both low-level sockets programming and high-level application layer programming.
Excellent at writing automated tests, ideally following TDD practices.
Experienced with agile software development practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experienced at helping other team members be more productive, and to grow.
Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop end to end automated integration, verification and continuous integration system
Develop, maintain and enhance automated test framework, tools and unit tests
Work with software engineers and bioinformatics scientists to understand analysis algorithms and architect & develop automated test solution(s)
Partner with software verification engineers to test applications manually as needed
Prepare necessary test artifacts required for formal software / product release
Participate in code and design Reviews
Collaborate with peers to identify opportunities for process improvement
Work collaboratively and effectively in an agile and very fast paced environment
Collaborate with DevOps to design and manage an automated, computational infrastructure supporting experimentation and research
Deploy and monitor software releases
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Degree in in Computer Science or related field
At least 3 years of experience in software test development experience with programming or scripting language (Python preferred)
Experience in architecting end-to-end automated test suite for API, desktop, web apps and experience with test frameworks such as pytest, Playwright, or similar
Experience writing verification plans, test cases, defects reports, executing & managing test cases using test cases management system and writing verification reports
Experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, cloud computing such as Amazon Web Services and Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD, Continuous Testing, and related tools such as TeamCity, GitHub Actions
Experience deploying web applications
Strong understanding of SDLC processes
Be curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
Have proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationships
