Job Overview:

The Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) is a research institute of the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.InC) is an A*STAR-level entity hosted within IMRE. Q.InC and IMRE are looking for a senior principal quantum scientist who has sufficient experience and proven track record of success in leading and managing quantum research, and bringing in external competitive funding. • Help develop proof-of-concept projects for the GCC platform alongside the product team and various stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for comprehensive solutions delivered by teams throughout the organization.
• Offer troubleshooting and problem-solving support across platform and application areas, including participating in on-call escalations for customer-facing issues.
• Support migration efforts for GCC platforms.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Experienced in managing cloud infrastructure and services on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• User-focused approach: Able to advocate for users' perspectives on GCC to promote changes and innovations that address their needs.
• Proficient in designing, building, deploying, and securing highly available web applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Experienced with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Solid understanding of network components, including load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and DNS.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices; knowledge of DevSecOps is a plus.
• Experience in an Agile development environment, focusing on rapid and quality delivery.
