• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Instrument and Control Engineering.

• Has 15 years experience in instrument and control system design work.

• Knowledge and experience in Field Instrument Engineering as well as Control System, e.g. DCS, ESD, F&G.

• Able to work at construction site to support construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Good interpersonal and communication.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

• Responsible for the technical performance of projects assigned
• Assist the team leader to maintain and develop the Company’s client base by winning clients’ satisfaction and trust during the performance of assigned projects
• Assist in preparation of proposals for potential projects
• Assist the team leader and work closely with members within the Function Group in relation to the following activities:

1. Project programming, implementation, review, monitoring and management
2. Preparation of disciplinary system designs and reports

• Demonstrate leadership and enthusiasm to staff within the team and motivate those staff to achieve the performance expected of the Function Group
• Assist Function Group Leader, Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer, working closely with the regional management team and Sector Director, to broaden and strengthen AIS’ reputation
• Carry out duties and functions as directed by the Function Group Leader not specified above

Specific

• Work closely with Project Manager to prepare action plans, including resources, timeframes and budget for the project
• Coordinate with the client, sub-consultant and design team to:

1. Attend meetings
2. Assist in liaison with QP(D) and QP(S)
3. Assist in liaison with various government authorities
4. Assist in liaison with the Public Utilities Board & Superintendent Officer

• Perform various coordinating tasks like schedule, risk managements along with administrative duties like maintaining project documentation, report writing and handling project queries
• Ensure that client’s needs are met as the project evolves
• Undertake some minor hydraulic designs
• Support the business development and pursuits in the Water and Infrastructure projects
• Assists in other ad hoc duties as assigned

Senior Resident Engineer

• Minimum 8 years of working experience
• Experience with HDB BTO projects / construction industry
• An engineering degree in the appropriate discipline
• Experience in project management from conception to delivery
• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step by step action plans
• Professional and confident approach to working relationships. Team orientated with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and peers
• Self-motivated and able to work independently when required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, supervisory and client management skills
• Solid organisation skills including multitasking and time-management
• Demonstrated good presentation and reporting skills
