[What the role is]

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for planning, managing and coordinating research and development (R&D) projects as well as technology innovation and exploitation activities and programmes to enhance NEA’s operational effectiveness and build new capabilities to meet Singapore’s environmental challenges. • Condition monitoring of rotating equipment through online and offline vibration analysis, oil analysis and other techniques.
• Develop training plans for Operations & Maintenance Teams.
• Prepare estimates and budgets for rotating equipment.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.

· Plan and co-ordinate weekly/monthly production and manpower schedules.

· Implement and write reports for rework, scrap/loss disposal, process deviation, process validation, new process and change in process.

· Set and implement process flow structure and chart for compilation of process capacity and ability records.

· Prepare and implement work improvement program.

1. Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair defined plant equipment to maximize plant availability and minimize production disruptions.
2. Safety and Housekeeping: Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and maintain good housekeeping standards.
3. Implementation Activities: Execute minor plant modifications and capital projects in line with defined specifications and budget.
4. Quality Responsibility: Take personal responsibility for quality in all maintenance work impacting product quality.
5. Improvement Projects: Initiate, encourage, and implement projects to reduce overall costs and improve cost-effectiveness, such as improving equipment reliability and standardization.
6. Technical Advice: Provide timely technical advice to other departments for troubleshooting and continuous process/system improvements.

Requirement

• Min. Bachelor/ Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Has prior experience in maintenance and repair of plant equipment
• Good understanding of Standard Engineering Practice, GMP guide and relevant maintenance standards.
• Good knowledge in maintenance and operating principles of production and utility equipment.
• Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System.
