• Basic knowledge of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP); field experience is a plus.

A quantity surveyor may work for either the client, the contractor or sub-con, working in an office or on site. They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.

When the project is in progress, quantity surveyors keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.

Aside from Quantity Surveyor, he or she will also act as project engineer wherein will take charge of the suprvising the project, adhere to construction procedures, coordinate all work schedule with the main con and liase with project manager and archi coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on tipper trucks to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in tipper trucks and execute necessary repairs.
• Perform engine repairs, brake system fixes, electrical wiring work, and other mechanical repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues related to engine performance, fuel systems, transmission, etc.
• Analyze and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize truck downtime.
• Develop and implement troubleshooting solutions to address both common and complex technical problems.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a technician or engineer, preferably with heavy vehicles such as tipper trucks.
• In-depth knowledge of heavy vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electronics.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
