Documentation Control

• Develop Production procedural documentation, WI and standards that meet the quality standards and requirements.
• Provide training to Operations teams ensuring consistent application of work procedure and quality standards.

Process Optimization

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to introduce new technologies and innovations to manufacturing process.

Reporting and KPI

• Report monthly CI & KPI performance.
• Report any abnormality to Immediate Reporting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with minimum 1 year working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and analytical abilities.

The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will play a critical role in maintaining our state-of-the-art manufacturing plants. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance and instrumentation activities for manufacturing plant facilities, ensuring operations run safely and smoothly.
• Coordinate and execute major field maintenance tasks, prioritizing worker safety and facility integrity.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are completed on schedule, minimizing disruption to plant operations.
• Conduct instrumentation application studies and modify plant facilities in line with technical specifications and business requirements.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for staff and contractors to enhance skills and competency levels.
• Implement and manage systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SS506 standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Electrical Power Engineering with good grades
• Capable in power calculation
• Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI) is an advantage.

Job Description

• Support the Shift Supervisor in the field operation of the plant daily activities
• Ensure that production operations are run in accordance with safety and operation regulations or procedures
• Assist in mitigating plant field emergencies as with adequate supervision by superior
• Able to prepare plant turn around procedure with guidance from supervisor and perform shutdown and restart of the assigned unit under adequate supervision.
• Support the implementation of production, quality assurance/ control, maintenance and department training plans
• Participate in production, quality control and maintenance operations to meet production schedules, quality and cost objectives
• Responsible in the preparation of maintenance work and also involved in minor maintenance work independently
• Adhere strictly in the implementation of products and process improvement plans
• Participate in safety activities and other programs, as well as emergency response training and drills
• Handle all ad hoc duties beside the above assigned as instructed by the superiors from time to time
