Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug robust and efficient industrial automation software using C++, C# & WPF.
• Utilize Windows API and libraries for interaction with hardware components.
• Program machine functionalities using motion control cards for precise movement control.
• Integrate with distributed I/O systems to gather sensor data and control actuators.
• Implement robust communication protocols for data exchange between software and hardware components.
• Leverage advanced threading techniques and synchronization mechanisms for optimal application performance.
• Employ advanced memory management practices, including memory mapped files, file mapping objects, and memory sections, to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Utilize the C++ Standard Library and templates effectively for code optimization and reusability.
• Understand and utilize Windows objects like events and mutexes for thread synchronization and communication.
• (Optional) Develop user interfaces using frameworks like WPF or WinUI to provide a user friendly experience for monitoring and control (if applicable).
• Write well-documented, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to understand system requirements and ensure software meets functional specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in C++, industrial automation technologies, and relevant libraries.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing industrial automation software using C++, C# & WPF.
• Proven experience with programming motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong understanding of Windows API development and memory management techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of the C++ Standard Library and its functionalities, including templates.
• Experience with Windows objects like events and mutexes.
• Familiarity with Windows GDI and GDI+ is a plus (for graphics-related tasks).
• Experience with Borland/Embarcadero C++ Builder VCL platforms is a strong plus.

Job Scope

Be responsible for the design and development of one or more devices that are part of an integrated e- payment Fare Collection System. The successful candidate will also be involved in the software development lifecycle from definition of requirements to design and development, and testing.

Requirements gathering.

• Design and develop software applications for embedded devices.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols (e.g.TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP, MQTT-S) to establish secure and reliable connections between embedded devices and on-premises/cloud platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting of embedded devices to identify and resolve issues related to functionality, connectivity, performance and reliability.
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the SDLC processes.
• Assist day-to-day application support issues.
• Liaise with users on the requirementtesting and production issues

Requirement

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Developed software in at least one full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, and designing software using object- oriented software design and UML modelling
• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Embedded platforms (e.g. QNX, Vxworks, Embedded Linux).
• Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial/USB communication.
• At least 5 years’ experience in object-oriented software development
• Prior experience in following areas Scrum AGILE methodology process is a plus
• Scrum AGILE methodology process
• Develop and integrate embedded devices with cloud platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent and a good team player

Job Description:

• Oversee post-sales activities Cybersecurity products.
• Participate in large-scale project implementations at both local and regional levels.
• Provide on-site implementation services, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Offer technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze and address customer queries by troubleshooting and consulting existing knowledgebase articles and known issues.
• Be available for 24x7 maintenance support calls on a routine standby basis.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Candidates with no prior relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT, particularly in network support and administration.
• Knowledge and experience in networking, including routing and switching technologies.

• Willing to work diligently and eager to learn about new technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
