· Responsible for maintenance and repair on any of the following equipment such as Laser Mark, UV-cure, AOI, TnR, Vision Systems, Inspection Station and Packing station.

· Provide technical support to manufacturing that includes machine conversion, device setup and line sustaining.

· Ensures 100% support to engineering group on device & recipe creation, equipment buy-off, evaluations, qualifications and support new product introduction NPI.

· Communicates with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Central Engineering (NPI), Pre-assy, to solve issues involving other group.

Requirements

· Possess wide application of most major concepts of specialization and ability to apply these concepts to a wide range of complex assignments.

· Requires through knowledge of practical applications of concepts, procedures and guidelines to solve extremely complex problems.

· Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronics, Chemical, Material, Science or its equivalent with 3 - 8 years experience in similar field.

· Hands on experience in handling Laser Mark, UV-cure, AOI, TnR, Vision Systems, Inspection Station and Packing station.

· Useful experience in Wafer Bumping, Back grind and Wafer Saw

Responsibility

Facility management and non-technical administrative tasks (80%):

a) Inventory management support

• Upkeep and maintain sufficient supplies of common laboratory chemical and consumables
• Procure common laboratory chemical and consumables
• Maintain up-to-date chemical and consumable inventory
• Purchase packaging materials and raw ingredients for formulations

b) Waste management support

• Initiate and coordinate disposal of unwanted, obsolete chemicals and generated waste in the laboratory
• Waste disposal documentation

c) Site maintenance and safety support

• Filing of MSDS and uploading onto Croda SharePoint
• Upkeep laboratory infrastructure (e.g. lightings, fittings, plumbing, air handling, firefighting equipment, first aid, etc)
• Keep track of equipment preventive maintenance and/or calibration timeline
• Liaise with equipment vendors for scheduled PM on site
• Liaise with building owner for issues with labs
• Liaise with vendors for facility maintenance
• Management of site scheduled electricity shut down
• General site safety support

d) General administration:

• Create purchase order
• Packing of parcels and UPS documentation for shipment of parcels
• Weekly lab scheduling
• COVID19 safe management as required by the authorities
• Receiving and managing vendors, contractors and visitors
• Coordinate laboratory laundry requirements
• General housekeeping

Technical-related Support (20%):

• Attending to request of feature formulations from Sales and Marketing
• Formulation scale-up
• Sample preparation
• Prototype packing

Requirements

• Diploma related to applied chemistry, chemical engineering, chemical process technology or equivalent
• Preferably with science background and comfortable working in a laboratory environment
