Project Description:Luxoft looking for an experienced and motivated Data Engineers who will be based in Singapore office. The role will work closely with the account management, the services team and collaborate with the product teams.
He / she will join a team of experienced consultants and participate in the implementation and support of the application, the installation of new modules and features, and oversee the installation, configuration and, workflow definition and optimization using NeoXam cutting edge data management platform, DataHub.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for high-impacting and challenging implementation projects, and acquire a global vision of the business processes at the world's top financial firms
• Provide best practice guidance to clients by leveraging technical expertise, NeoXam DataHub software knowledge and industry experience
• Design, configure, implement of NeoXam's DataHub software solutions based on client requirements
▪ Manage the overall design and configuration activity by ensuring the team follows configuration /
scripting / design guidelines.
• Identify and resolve any installation and implementation problems to the client's satisfaction within
established time frames
• Analyze the clients' needs, accompany and coach their teams and/or take charge of the product
implementation, meet clients' requests, manage the client relation and coordination of the project.
• Provide project management leadership under the responsibility of the Account Manager or Project
Director
• Develop and conduct product training workshops for clients
• Provide presales consultancy by assisting the sales teams with presentations, Proof of Concept,

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Engineering or Business school, Master's degree or equivalent
• Up to 7-8 years of experience in data engineering / data modelling space
• Banking / Capital Markets domain experience is mandatory
• Hands-on coding experience in scripting language like Shell, Bash, Python, VB , Java Script. Candidate should be able to adapt to new programming language(s).
• Previous project experience with involvement in multiple stages of the project life cycle
• Independent, with own initiative and good interpersonal skills and are concerned about the quality of service provided
• Proactive and a real team player
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with RDBMS, Data Modeling, and SQL language
• Understanding of Enterprise Data Management and ETL techniques and processes
• Previous experience of financial data provider feeds such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE and others
• Knowledge of financial instruments such as Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives

JOB DUTIES:

• Work closely with the Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to refine the continuous improvement of the software delivery process.
• Champion high delivery and service standards in ensuring all products are methodically tested and issue-free at all gate-keeping points.
• Implement automated testing initiatives in both functional and non-functional aspects within the test pipeline as part of the CI/CD process in an agile environment.
• Execute test cases, identify defects and ensure all quality issues are properly documented, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Lead QA Engineer to continuously identify risks and close those gaps to ensure comprehensive test coverage for every product release.
• Proactively identify problems, plan solutions, recommend testing & automation solutions that will meet business needs of the team.
• Maintain and update testing dashboard to make testing metrics and testing activities visible.
• Produce test summary reports for each test cycle.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, languages and techniques.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree of Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of related work experience in Automated Quality Assurance (Automated QA) in enterprise-scale turn-key projects and large-scale customer facing systems, preferably in fast-paced tech, IT or gaming industry.
• Experienced in quality assurance and quality control of scalable, maintainable, extensible, web-based enterprise grade applications with web-based and mobile app-based interfaces.
• Excellent documentation skills in drafting clear and concise test scenarios, test cases, along with in-depth knowledge of QA methodology.
• Knowledgeable in building automated testing modules within the larger framework, pipeline, process and familiar with various automated testing tools such as JMeter, Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, BrowserStack, Cucumber.
• Proficient in Java and other programming languages which are commonly used in an automated testing environment.
• Willing to roll-up one’s sleeves and provide a hands-on help to the team.
• Any Technical Test Analyst / Test Manager certification is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to meet and work with offshore team members.

• Assisting in setting up the test equipment for production and engineering team.
• Handle all Test & Backend Equipment sustaining i.e. Bench, ATE, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS, Laser Mark, etc.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical, Mechatronics
• Able to work rotating 12-hr shift
