Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical and application support to the leather department.

Assist in supporting new products development and conduct applications testing in the laboratory.

Support day-to-day lab testing operations and maintain laboratory equipment.

Maintain a well-organized lab and operate safely in laboratory environment.

Keep a high level of SHE standards.

Assist the Application Manager in daily duties.

Regional travel may be required from time to time.

Requirements:

Diploma in Applied Chemistry / Chemical Process Technology / ChemicalEngineering.

Some exposure in chemical industry, coatings or paints and printing inks industry.

Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Planning and organizing skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks

Other Information:

5-days work week.

Working hours: 8:00am – 5:15pm

Role & responsibilities:

• Support the Senior/ Service & Commissioning Engineer on site.
• Provide technical expertise and carryout service order assignments from the Service & Commissioning Manager/ Service & Commissioning Coordinator
• Field representative of the company to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, repair, test, and return equipment to service as required or instructed by a service order in a safe and effective manner.
• Create daily reports about the performed service tasks and all related issues and send them to the Service Mailbox
• Complete all the required documentation & write reports regarding the work

Requirements:

• Minimum a Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or equivalent
• Good, basic, technical insight into electrical, hydraulic and basic mechanical engineering fundamentals
• 1yr of relevant experience in Marine industry
• No experience can apply as on-the-job training is provided
• Good communication skills
• Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
• Basic understanding of programming and industrial control systems is a plus
• Willing to travel abroad heavily
• Willing to work overtime
