Job Description

1. Deploys Engineering decision-making to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns
2. Identify and address potential issues before they escalate to prevent unplanned downtime.
3. Achieving 0 LTIF target through ensuring safety procedures are followed through SOP, TRA, employees wearing full PPE during work, developing safety procedures
4. To support the section in terms of external resources/vendor management
5. To drive safety, cost, energy and reliability improvement projects in MSP through application of Mechanical integrity and quality assurance
6. Recommend and implement modifications or upgrades to enhance machinery reliability.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
8. Perform root cause analysis and work towards resolutions
9. Oversee all required engineering qualification tests on project; ensure compliance with all outside parties involved
10. Participate in test runs and field installations
11. Analysing and interpreting data
12. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
13. Provide training to maintenance technicians and operators on equipment usage and maintenance procedures

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience of supervising and managing mechanical site activities for large scale manufacturing project from inception to completion.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
4. Possess strong leadership.
5. Possess strong orientation towards results.
6. Effective communication, both in verbal and written form English and Chinese.
7. Possess good teamwork capabilities
8. Possess good project and time management.

We are also seeking candidates with outstanding capacity to teach the related topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. Some school and university services will be expected to the successful candidates too.

Emoluments

The commencing salary will depend on the candidates' qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered.

Main Roles and Responsibilities (max 5 only)

Configure and maintain virtualized environments using VMWare and Nutanix hypervisor,
optimizing resource allocation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage after-sales and service activities.
• Responsible for Equipment installations pre-commissioning checks and commissioning on sites.
• Coordinating field work involving troubleshooting, reporting and resolution of any emergent warranty issues.
• Responsible and manage warranty claims and matters and liaising with HQ on any warranty claims and reports.
• Technical back-up to field service staff to ensure technical queries are attended and settled prompt.
• Ensure completion of service task and submission report/expenses.
• Prepare quotation for service and spare parts enquiries.
• Customer relationship management
• Identifying training needs for service engineers/agent. Provide training for customers and staff.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
