Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team in Trade Finance domain (Onshore/Offshore)
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment across APAC region

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete application development project in Trade Finance domain
• Manage project issues, risks, and budgets effectively
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestone and final deliverables.

System Integration:

• Oversee the integration of in-house/vendor-provided application with regional peripheral systems
• Rollout Global solution/Regional solution provided by HO or other regions
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and present reports on project progress, issues, and risks
• Act at the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in system integration and project management
• Stay updated with industry trend and best practice

Maintenance

• Regularly monitor system performance, system usage, and resource consumption and take preventive measures before issues arise
• Act as the primary point of contact for any technical issues or bugs reported by users and coordinate to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Apply security patches for vulnerabilities and updates to keep system up to date
• Plan and execute regular updates and upgrades to the application to ensure it remains current and secure, managing EOL/EOS for Hardware and Software
• Provide on-going support to users, addressing their queries and concerns
• Consider the introduction of new technologies and tools, and plan system upgrade.
• Liaise with the relevant teams including vendors to investigate reported issues/problem, identify root cause/impact, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issue.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and change logs
• Ensure the application complies with all relevant regulatory and security standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field
• 15+ Years of experience with specialization on Trade Finance implementations, with exposure to methodologies and frameworks for IT project management
• Strong understanding of trade finance processes, including export/import, bank guarantees, and supply chain finance
• Experience with CGI T360/TPS trade finance product
• In addition to knowledge of Trade Finance, knowledge of syndication loans and experience with Finastra LoanIQ is even preferred if you have
• Knowledge in Java/J2EE platform, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS, DB2, MQ and IIB would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams or offshore team
• Strong communication skill to liaise with stakeholders, team members, and products vendors
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player

Job Objectives

Test Operations Analyst will work closely with the respective stakeholders within TCOE (Testing Center of Excellence), primarily TPMs (Test Programme Managers) and test vendor partners to make sure the testing operation functions are running seamlessly.

Reporting to the TCOE Test Operations Lead, the candidate shall ensure that TCOE operation functions are tracked, monitored and reported periodically.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages the administrative processes, methods and standards to ensure that the operation functions within TCOE is adhered
• Design tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure the administrative function are compliant with defined policies and standards
• Design and operate a process to centralise the main 4 TCOE administrative functions in the financial lifecycle
  • Request for eCRF (Electronic Contract Repository Form)
  • Request for eMemo (Electronic Memo request for budget drawdown)
  • Request for ePR (Electronic Purchase Request)
  • Invoice clearance and monitoring
• Collaborate and define clear segregation of functions between TCOE and P&OP (Process & Operations Planning team), a shared operation functions across GIPS (Group Infrastructure & Platform Services)
• Work with P&OP team to make sure hygiene factors such as e-learnings and clean desk policies are adhered to
• Support the TCOE Business Continuity Program functions such as BCP awareness and Calltree exercise
• Work closely with Business Finance & P&OP teams to make sure TCOE HC are tracked, reported and provide trend analysis periodically
• Drives and measures adoption of GTO testing processes, methods and standards across GTO domains
• Support TCOE team to daily operation such as seating and timesheet
• Support the coordination of any operation functions with IH2 (Innovation Hub 2) and Intermark Office in Malaysia
• Updates and maintains standards/ processes/ methodologies relating to testing and ensure alignment with other Bank GTO defined policies/ guidelines/processes in supporting IT delivery to business.
• Provides periodic reports on quality metrics used to benchmark and measure respective Testing domains and adherences to GTO defined standards on testing.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering/ Banking & Finance or related field
• Must have oral and written communication abilities for both English language
• Proven working experience in operation administrative functions equivalent role with at least 6 to 9 years relevant experience in Banking and Finance
• Demonstrated success in developing highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver collaboration, partnerships and services
• Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in financial lifecycle primarily in procure to pay process
• Experience in vendor management to deal with external vendors
• Testing or quality certifications will be preferred
