Master's Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in construction industry
Prior audit experience will be an added advantage
Experience with accounting software will be added advantage
Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Team player who is driven and able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Meticulous and able to multi-task
Great interpersonal and communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the day to day account and finance operations
Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts
Ensure timely and accurate periodic financial closing and reporting
Prepare, review and present financial reports and statements to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor and ensure proper invoicing and monthly payment collections
Preparation of group consolidation accounts
Preparation of GST submission
Handle yearly tax returns and other related claims
Responsible for cashflow reporting and projections
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and analysis
Managing statutory audit and tax compliance process
Liaise with Banks for related banking facilities
Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Other ad-hoc duties assigned
