My client is a global fintech company providing prime brokerage services to institutional clients across multiple market including Asia. Their innovative platform delivers superior trading and investment solutions, catering to a wide range of financial institutions.

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will focus on financial accounting matters, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. With a strong background in financial services, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing financial operations and strategic financial planning. Experience in brokerage services will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the company’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements and other relevant bodies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing any audit findings effectively.
• Manage tax planning and compliance for the company, including corporate tax, GST, and other relevant tax matters.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including institutional clients, regulators, auditors, and other financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on financial accounting. Experience in brokerage services is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/SFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
• In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment in Singapore and other Asian markets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic fintech environment.
