Finance Manager (Accounts Receivable)

Working Location: Suntec Convention Centre

Working Hours: Office Hours, Mon - Fri, 9 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all trade receivable functions in the department are being handled and documented properly
• Oversee daily AR reconciliation, credit notes and vouchers
• Manage and prepare daily and monthly AR reconciliation, accrual of journal entries, month-end closing and AR GST reports
• Identify and evaluate credit risk and assess credit history of clients
• Regularly monitor debtors aging, collections, and reconciliation
• Personally handle overdue payment (visit, negotiate, analyse and report) in accordance with the collections procedures
• Assist AP team with daily posting of Invoices when required.
• Ensure financial and business-related legislative compliance are met
• Review and implement internal control procedures and policies in AR team
• Support digitalization of Finance processes
• Support the Management with special projects and business change initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent qualification
• 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in using ERP system
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Finance Manager (Project Financial Accounting & Analysis)

(6 Months Maternity Cover)

Working Location: Yio Chu Kang

Working Hours: Office Hours, Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities for project system & ensure financial records are properly maintained with updated information.
• Prepare adhoc management report
• Prepare month end closing activities for Project System, review project financials, investigate variances and ensure revenue and cost are recognized correctly.
• Ensure month end closing related reports are prepared timely so that the timeline of the various activities given by the Group can be met.
• Assist Senior Finance Manager/Associate Director to prepare monthly/quarterly management report.
• Analyze project financials & ensure compliance to Accounting Standard FRS115. Provide financial insights and advisory, identify projects with potential risk & help business to make informed decisions.
• Support business units (eg. CSU) and delivery teams (LOB) in their operations by providing advice on project delivery governance related processes, usage of project system, accounting treatment and project monitoring reports.
• Perform analysis on accrued revenue aging to ensure timeliness in project billings to customers to improve cash flow position of the Group.
• Handle internal and external auditors’ queries and documentation related to projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent qualification
• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting
• Experience in using SAP system preferred
• Familiarity with project/contract financial management
• Understanding of the concept of percentage of completion
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
