As part of the investment team, you will contribute to the impact and climate project development portfolio by leading international investment and commercial strategies . You will use your expertise to perform feasibility analyses, valuations, and structure project deals to execute investmentsin the expansion of ACT’s APAC organization. You will have the opportunity to grow alongside the Climate Solutions team, focusing on an emerging market with significant potential.
You will
- Lead investment process on opportunities in the climate/carbon/nature-based sector.
- Assessthe commercial attractiveness and feasibility of investments.
- Manage due diligence processes, perform valuation and financial analyses.
- Structure (legal and financial), negotiate, close new projects deals.
- Develop commercial and investment strategies, ensuring bottom up strategies are in line with the global portfolio strategy.
- Preparing investment documentation.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify investor leads via networking, events and/or other sources to establish and develop relationships with investors within targeted markets and sectors.
Job requirements
- Consistent experience within the job scope, 6-8 years with increasing responsibility.
- Prior experience in real asset invest ng (natural resources, infrastructure) in developing markets is a strong preference.
- A financial, economics, econometrics, business or technical master’s degree with above-average grades.
- Able to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical capabilities
- Structured and high attention to detail
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and a team player.
- Ability to think “outside the box” to source creative investment ideas
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and to negotiate/close multi-partner deals
- Proven network of stakeholders, Institutional Finance, Family Office, Corporate, and/or Government is a strong plus
- English fluency written and spoken. Japanese a plus
