About the Role:
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for financial modeling, billing, and expense management for Ampotech’s Singapore office and subsidiary companies in Southeast Asian markets including Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The role involves managing Ampotech finance staff and corporate service providers supporting accounting and tax matters in different countries. The Finance Manager is expected to be comfortable with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and financial modeling to generate forecasts and anticipate financing needs for general working capital or project financing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial planning and analysis work to support decision making, including providing variance analysis for monthly and quarterly reports
- Prepare cashflow projections, quarterly forecast and annual budget at a group level and country level
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the company
- Interface with auditors on group level audit issues
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage finance staff and corporate service providers in regional offices in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia
- Review and optimize existing procedures and systems to improve the company's finance function and operations
- Serve as the Business Integrity (BI) compliance officer and update relevant information in the company's ESG management system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience
- Proactive problem solver who pays attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Xero
- Experience with startup financial modeling tools such as Causal, Finmark, or a similar software is desirable.
- Experience working in a venture-backed startup, Venture Capital, or Private Equity is a plus
- Experience with project finance for energy or infrastructure projects is a plus
