Responsibilities
- Drive heightened standards on collection strategy and risk segmentation to improve collection management efficiencies and effectiveness, leveraging data analytics
- Establish a framework for productivity metrics, benchmarking and performance monitoring
- Drive enhancement of collection system, dashboard and process to gain efficiency and effectiveness in delinquency and NPL management
- Establish and execute restructuring program, working closely with Credit Approvers
- Understand drivers for delinquency and loss rates, recommending collection strategy changes proactively
- Establish collection playbook to support consistent implementation of policies/processes to other markets
- Perform front end or backend collection and recovery for non-performing loan, working with law firms and real estate agencies
- Coach and supervise junior collectors
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of Collection Management experience covering Unsecured And Secured Portfolio in the banking or financial industry
- Preferably possess the following complementary work experience in:
- SME Credit
- Restructuring
- Credit loss recognition and forecasting
- Degree holder, preferably in risk management discipline
- Good inter-personal, communication & writing skills
- Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Motivated and collaborative team player with ability to consider the broader picture
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office and preferably SQL or data analytics tools)
- Credit Risk/Collection Experience: 10-15 Years
