Trust Officer

Responsibilities:

The Employee shall have the following responsibilities and duties:

· Assisting with the administration of legal structures including trust, companies, foundations and other similar structures.

· Ensuring the adherence of these structures to the fiduciary, statutory, regulatory, and internal obligations that they are subject to.

· Drafting of appropriate documents and other work in order to assist a team of administrators of administrating the legal structures and responding (or proactively engaging) with client requests.

· Assisting with contact with client, advisors and related third parties (for example external lawyers, tax consultants etc.).

· Assisting an accounts teams with the preparation of annual accounts for the legal structures, by assisting qualified bookkeepers and accountants to ensure correct information is provided to them and recorded.

· Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, and learning and adhering to AML/CFT and other regulator regulations and obligations.

The primary function of this role is to provide a full scope of client trust and corporate administration services for a portfolio of trusts and companies.

Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of international clients to assist in the establishment of new Trust and corporate structures and ongoing administration of existing structures.

Ongoing administration to include compliance with statutory requirements including compliance with all MAS regulations.

Assist the Manager with the completion of periodic review for a portfolio of clients based on client risk rating an according to company policy and procedures.

Terminations, liquidations, and winding-up of existing Trust and corporate structures.

Timely invoices to clients and prompt debtor collection.

Liaise with the Accounting Department to ensure that financial statements are completed in a timely basis for trusts and companies under administration.

Maintenance of trust and corporate records and internal files.

Maintenance of Client Management Information System (IBIS) database in relation to Trusts and companies.

Supervision and on-the-job development of the Officer and Junior Trust and Corporate staff members.

Other ad-hoc administrative requirements from time to time including in-house or regulatory projects.
