- Responsible for cost controlling, accounting, tax and audit
- Controlling includes Budget planning
- Accounting includes monthly closing & Vokus reporting
- Taxation includes Transfer pricing documentation, filing of Corporate income tax return, GST return, Singapore Withholding Tax etc
- Audit includes statutory audits, attending to queries from Tax and Custom authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports, planning rounds, budgets and forecasts
- Accounts consolidation and reporting to Group
- Optimal use of company resources and identify cost savings where possible
- Treasury & cash flow management (FD placement with Central Treasury Centre)
- Ensure legal matters such as contracts and corporate secretarial are well managed
- Manage IT function, such as investment, implementation, IT Security matters, user support services & maintenance
- Oversees purchasing function, office upkeep and administration
- Manage Internal controls, processes and applications (E.g. concur and my.serve systems)
- Oversees Risks and Compliance functions
- Oversees Company Policy & Processes are put in place after alignment with Group, and update when needed
- Role of Export Control Officer responsible for setting up and maintenance an internal export control compliance program for the company
- Ensure smooth running of vehicle importation business of Group Brands (Inward shipment, delivery, dealing with Customs, invoicing, LC documentation, dealer sales/marketing support, etc)
- Ensure that any procured agency, the service performance is in line with expectations of company and have clearly defined scope of work with KPI goals in the service level agreement
- Continually improve the quality of shared services within the company to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare and participate in company board meetings and financial reviews (twice a year)
Job Requirements:
- Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications such as Degree in Accounting or Business management and/or Chartered Accountant
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years in relevant field preferably with Automotive experience
- Good knowledge of SAP GAAP and Taxation laws.
- Strong planning, process set-up, interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate with MS Office.
- Fluent English language, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of German advantage, to commuicate with the stakeholders in HQ
