Act as a Finance Business Partner to the CEO.
Oversee the company's financial planning as it expands, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
Manage all aspects of the finance functions, including management reporting and project accounting for Azendian Solutions Group.
Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals.
Closely monitor and analyze operating revenues, expenses, and capital expenditure utilization against budget and funding sources.
Prepare and present financial performance reports, full-year forecasts, and budget variance analyses to stakeholders, highlighting key discrepancies and suggesting areas for improvement.
Collaborate with divisions and project teams on monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and revised budget submissions, presenting these to stakeholders and recommending adjustments as necessary.
Monitor fixed and variable costs to identify cost drivers and improve budget accuracy.
Review and contribute to the financial components of funding requests, quarterly project updates, and final project reports.
Streamline Finance processes, such as AP and AR, to enhance efficiency and control.
Manage relationships with key vendors (auditors, legal advisors, corporate secretary).
Prepare reliable financial reports, both current and forecasted.
Oversee the finance IT system to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognized professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CFA).
Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally within a startup/SME environment, with prior Big 4 exposure.
Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of market best practices.
Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
Extensive knowledge of financial principles and corporate finance.
Previous experience in fundraising for companies is an advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in business partnering and FP&A functions.
Good internal and external stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and implement practical solutions.
